Turn on the Town

Where: Seaside-30A & Seaside Amphitheater
Combine the small-town atmosphere of a beach community parade, throw in a dash of Santa Claus, and mix with the official lighting of a remarkable town on Florida’s Emerald Coast, and you have the perfect makings to kick off the Holiday season in beautiful Seaside. The parade begins at 4pm in Seagrove Beach and proceeds west to the town of Seaside. At 5pm, it’s party time in the amphitheater with holiday festivities and of course pictures with the jolly-bearded one. Soon, the master of ceremonies asks all the kids to the stage to sing to the crowd of smiling faces, and after a few versus of jingle bells, the count down begins in unison to “Turn on the Town.”

A Christmas Carol

5th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes

Where: Freeport
There are five spectacular sites, all located in Freeport and a sixth home in Santa Rosa Beach. There will be a drawing for a Christmas arrangement, created by Florist Russ Barley, at the end of the tour. Tickets are $5 presale and $7 at the event. Proceeds from this function will help fund the various civic projects of the Planters, especially the beautification of Freeport. Tickets may be purchased at Emerald Coast Flowers now on Hwy 20 in Freeport, the Ard Gallery and The Prissy Hen in Freeport, or from any TPS member.
