A Christmas Carol

Thanksgiving Feast

Turkey Trot

Roger Daltrey Concert

Roger Daltrey has one of rock’s most legendary voices, but he doesn’t take it for granted. That’s why the set of solo dates he’ll be playing has been dubbed the Use It or Lose It Tour. As lead singer for The Who, he’s lent his Olympian pipes to a staggering array of enduring rock ‘n’ roll anthems. Longtime collaborator, guitarist/backup singer, Simon Townshend, will join Daltrey onstage along with guitarist/musical director Frank Simes, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button, and drummer Scott Devours. The concert promises a healthy serving of Who songs, solo material (including some songs he has never played live), and covers that pay tribute to Daltrey’s influences and admired contemporaries. Holiday Carol Sing

Area visitors and residents can celebrate the holidays at an old-fashioned sing-a-long and help feed the hungry. The 19th annual Holiday Carol Sing is a festival of holiday music and family fun. This year’s performance will feature the First Presbyterian Church Choir, soloists and other special guests singing favorite holiday carols with audience sing-a-longs. Three performances take place at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. The doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time. Attendees also will be able to visit Santa’s House and see Santa and Mrs. Claus busily preparing for the holidays with the help of their elves. A live manger scene will be presented in the courtyard of the church, and Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman are expected to make a visit. Admission is at least two cans of non-perishable food for The Soup Kitchen and a voluntary cash donation.
