Ok if you don't mind sleeping with insects
Last summer we stayed at INN Paradise panama city beach, upon arrival the room was not ready at check in, we had timed our drive to arrive exactly at check in but the room was not ready the clerk attempted to give us another room, but it was not gulf view which is what we had paid for, we were told to come back in 30 minutes and the room would be ready, we ran to get some dinner and when we came back it still was not ready (1 hour later). again they attempted to convince us to take a street facing room which we declined. at this point we were becoming rather irritated with the amount of time that was being wasted, the receptionist stated the room just needed to be vacuumed and if we wanted we could go ahead to the room and have housekeeping vacuum it later, we agreed and went off to find the room. the room was FILTHY, it needed to be cleaned, the stove had burnt on food all over it, the bathroom had mold growing in the shower stall, and the bed did not have sheets just a blanket on it and one pillow. we called the office immediately and insisted they come to the room and resolve the issue, housekeeping came about 30 minutes later and barely did anything. but we figured we would not be spending much time in the room since we were on the beach. after finishing out site seeing and meeting up with some friends we came back to the room and went to bed, the spare bed was covered in knats, we called the office once again and they sent the maintenance man to take care of the problem, he sprayed an entire can of insect killer directly on the bed and threw the empty can in the waste basket and walked out saying that should take care of the problem. we decided that we could not stay there any longer, so after calling around we found another room just down the road, when we went to check out that evening we were informed there was a penalty for early checkout, which was equivalent to the rest of the stay. even with the obivious health issues present. i would not recommend this
