Beach house vacation rentals offer all of the comforts of home – and more, including high-speed Internet access, roomy, well-equipped kitchens, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, garden tubs, fireplaces, wet bars, towels, bed linens, and full-size washers and dryers. Many feature fenced outdoor areas where the kids can play, and some even have a game room with a billiard table, dart board, and other games that are great for whiling away the time on a rainy day.
Some beach house vacation rentals are in resorts and planned communities that offer additional amenities such as tennis courts, clubhouses, spa and fitness centers, and golf course access. When making reservations, you can also get information about local attractions and the best places to eat and shop.
Prices are based on location (beach, bay, lake), size, amenities, and the time of year you’re booking your beach house vacation rental. Off-season prices are considerably lower than those for peak season rentals. Some property managers also offer special deals that include discounted admissions to area attractions, golf course admissions, and other incentives to book with them.

Destin Beach House rentals
Destin beach house rentals are available for as little as $150 per day from mid-October to the end of February for a two-bedroom, two-bath home with Gulf access and a lakefront view. The same house rents for $300 per day from the last week in May to the end of July. Prices for a four-bedroom Gulf–front home that sleeps eight range from $1,600 per week in winter to $3,800 per week at the height of the summer season, which runs from mid-May to early August. A minimum stay of one week may be required during the summer months for many Destin beach house rentals.

Panama City Beach
Nearby, Panama City Beach house rentals range from a low of $190 per day or $1,140 per month from November through early March to $425 per day and $2,550 per week from May through August for a four-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath home with a Gulf view, a heated pool, and a separate teen suite. A similar house situated directly on the beach rents for $2,220 per week in winter and $5,700 weekly during the summer season.

Seaside & Grayton Beach House Rentals
Seaside, Seagrove and Grayton Beach are all located in the Gulf area know as "30-A" because they are located along scenic Highway 30-A. This is a gorgeous area of the Florida coast and the perfect spot for a beach house rental. At the beautiful planned community of Seaside, the beach houses are truly homes away from home, with designer décor, top-of-the-line appliances, fireplaces, wet bars, and landscaped lots. A short walk from the beach (many are just across the street), Seaside Florida Beach house rentals often have their own swimming pools, grills, and landscaped patios. The price for beach house rentals in Seaside for a typical four-bedroom, four-bath home runs $1,320 per day. Prices for smaller homes (with one or two bedrooms and one bath) can be as low as $225 per day.
A truly grand Grayton Beach house rental with five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths can be reserved for as little as $119 per night and $828 per week in the winter months. At the height of the season, the same house rents for $356 per night, $2,494 per week. It has Gulf access and is in a planned community with two swimming pools.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach House Rentals
A four-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath Gulf Shores beach house rentals that sleeps 13 is available for $311 per night and $1,866 per week November through February. In the peak summer months, the minimum stay is a week, and the cost is $3,732. A smaller home (three bedrooms, two baths) with a Gulf view can be rented for $141 per night and $846 per week in the winter. Summer rates for the same house are $281 per night and $1686 per week. Down the road, Orange Beach house rentals are available at comparable rates.

Captiva Island Beach House Rentals
Captiva Island Beach house rentals include Gulf-front cottages (three bedrooms, two baths) renting for around $2,500 per week. Also available are grand homes overlooking the bay that have their own private pool, deck, gourmet kitchen, and billiard room. Unlike on neighboring Sanibel Island, beach houses on Captiva are available for weekly rentals. Because of its Southwestern Florida location, the seasonal rates in Captiva are the reverse of other locations along the Alabama and Florida Panhandle coast. The high season is during the winter when rates will be higher than in the summer. In fact, Captiva is a great opportunity to have a great vacation and save big if you plan a trip in the Summertime.
