Great place would come back. Dock was idea. Price was a little on the high side. AC had trouble keeping the downstairs cool.

The house was very clean when we checked in. The propane tank for the grill was empty but the management company was quick to replace it. The house is in a great location, a quite neighborhood and close to the beach access.

My group had the best experience staying at Boaters' Dream house. We loved the house and felt that it was very clean. Also, customer service for Destin Pointe Vacation Rentals were super helpful with the questions I had leading up to the trip. All in all I cannot complain! It was good to know from other reviews about the house not offering additional blankets. We brought some and were glad! Great house that I will definitely consider booking again in the future!

The house couldn't have been better for us. We had plenty of bed rooms and boat parking. The place was clean and well stocked with really nice TV's. The pool was clean and well kept.

We had a great stay at this property. The rooms were clean, the location was easy to find and close to the beach, and the pool was lovely. There was ample space to sit and sleep and the AC worked well. My only caveats: we wished there were more towels available, as we had to reuse towels for the duration of the stay (more times than we'd like). Also, the pool was super super warm, not very refreshing, although I'm not sure there's anything they could do about that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property!

Overall, the house was fantastic. 5 Bedrooms...4 had king beds, one had two twins. Perfect for my family. Note: There are three bedrooms upstairs, and they all share one bathroom. Downstairs are two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Some of the upstairs guests will likely need to use the downstairs bathrooms for showers, etc.

Cooling the fridge off the first day was a challenge. Be patient, especially if you are loading warm drinks, etc.

Kitchen was moderately well equipped. We couldn't find the grill tools, so maybe prepare to bring your own. The front glass panel of the oven would fall every time we opened the oven door. We called Destin Pointe, and they were very responsive. Hopefully this is fixed by now!

The pool was a wonderful bonus. We stayed in July, so the water temp was quite warm. Having some sails or some sort of shade over the pool would be a nice addition. The house was not equipped with any floats or water toys. Bring your own.

You can't see it from the road, but the house could actually accommodate 2 nice size boats + a jet ski. There are three "slip" areas to store your water toys. We traveled with a 26' Center Console, and had plenty of room to spare.

It's a super easy ride out through the canals over to Crab Island. On Thursday evening, we took the boat over to the pass to watch the weekly fireworks show. It was amazing!

Speaking of the boat - we launched at Joes Bayou Marina. Easy in and out, and a $25 launch & pick up fee. We've launched at Destin Marina before, and it was a disaster - very crowded and difficult to launch. ***IMPORTANT**** There is NO PLACE TO STORE A TRAILER at the house or Joe's Bayou Marina. You'll need to look for a place to store the boat trailers. We used "Captain Doug," essentially stored the trailer in his yard for a fee. You can gas up on the water at the HarborWalk marina. Super friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time enjoying the beauty Destin has to offer. This home is perfectly nestled in the middle of everything to enjoy. We appreciated being away from the busy Hwy 98 or 30A traffic. It was perfect for our boating needs. Easy walk to the beach and a wonderful pool that we enjoyed with the littles. Appreciated the fences to keep them safe as well. Beautiful cruise to nearby crab island with our boats. Saw a huge sea turtle swimming up the channel from the upper deck while enjoying some cocktails. Very comfy beds and living area. Was hard to leave!!
