I've stayed at the Seafarer for 30 years. Every experience has been great. This last one was good however I was surprised to find that when we checked in the shower in the downstairs bathroom was partially broken. The top knob was loose and could not function to put the water up to the main shower head. Evidently no one told staff it was broken before we arrived. Maintenance did come the same day we reported it. Could not fix it because they needed a part. There were other minor repairs that were needed that evidently were not addressed or turned into maintenance before we arrived. Never encountered that before. Also there were partial rolls of toilet paper on the roller in each bathroom but no extra was provided under the sink. Staff said that was normal. And again not to my knowledge in 30 years. There's been at least one extra per bathroom. If you're not going to do that, that's okay just let people know before they come so they can bring some if this is a new policy. Staff said it was not that this was always the policy but I would beg to differ on that. Staff in the office was efficient but rather brusque. At one point I asked if someone else had bought the building because this was somewhat of a different experience and they said no so maybe it's under new management.

We had no problems with the comdo other than the shower pressure was low. The furniture was comfy and the location was perfect for sun lovers like us!!!

Downstairs shower needs handle to help step over into shower ! Shower floor is slippery! Hooks in entryway need to be lowered for use with beach towels and bags! Furniture was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked! Porch was well enjoyed especially the taller chairs! We had a wonderful vacation at the Seafarer, Our Destin Home!

The seafarer 204 vacation rental unit was awesome with a perfect spot on the beach the private beach access was quiet with plenty of room for activities walking up and down the beach it was easy to recognize we had the best spot for miles the Back Porch bar/restaurant has a bar serving the beach so Tropical drinks in a bucket to go were only a 3 minute walk away clean spacious unit super friendly and helpful management staff made for a fantastic vacation

We rented #206 for the month on November. The beach is almost private due to the few people. Restaurants are also no wait due to the slim crowds. Unit #206 was selected since it had updated walk in showers in both bath room. The living area was somewhat out dated and the beds were very soft like a marshmellow.

Every thing was comfortable easy assess to beach and pool grills. need to check filter for the fridge water dispenser barley coming out. over all the room was nice and clean and easy assess to get out and about to find things

This was our 2nd year staying here. The 1st year was great personal was great and friendly and very welcoming and helpful the unit was great. This year was totally different. We stayed at a different unit because it had a remodel bathroom downstairs and thought it would be better. Well the unit needed a little TLC but still not to bad. You can tell the building is suffering from maintenance and the units as well. Love the fact it’s only two floors and right on the beach. But on our last night there I went down to the office to see if they had an extra roll of toilet paper. Well don’t do that because they think it’s gold. They told me to go buy some they don’t supply TP. I even offered to purchase a roll. Still no. I said I spent 3200 dollars and you can’t give or sell me 1 roll of TP. She said yes go buy your own. Very rude and didn’t care rather I come back or not. Very disrespectful and rude.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish!
The staff was great! This property is in a great location, and it exceeded our expectations. The property was convenient to all the activities we enjoyed in the area, golf, fishing, our favorite restaurants, and stores. I would highly recommend this property due to the friendly staff, the location of the property, the cleanliness of the property, and for the view from BOTH balconies!

We've rented from Destin Reality, Destin Beach Club, many times. We love Destin Beach Club we just needed an extra bedroom. We thought the Seafarer would be run like the other property.
The young lady in the office was very nice and helped us to get registered. The beach was beautiful, loved our beach chair guy, and the location. Maybe it was just the unit we were in but the beds were uncomfortable, the furnishings were shabby, the closets so full we couldn't use them to hang our clothes, the floors not clean. Fortunately the bathrooms are updated. We used the downstairs bedroom and the balcony had collected water and would not drain. I tried to sweep it off but it was just yucky from a hard rain. We like to cook and the kitchen needs to be updated and restocked. We made do but we won't go back. I'm really disappointed because it had all the makings of a perfect spot for us to transition to with our daughter and son-in-law.

Clean and nicely decorated. We had a very pleasant stay in the condo. It was close to restaurants and Walmart. It was very relaxing on balcony listening to the ocean. We would stay there again no hesitation!
Ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much, had great weather, great service, we will return in the spring or fall of next year. The only l thing I would like to see, some painting in the bathroom door on the first floor, and the kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned. This is something that you need to know, the shower door let water come out from under it. This bathroom was great just wouldn’t want the water to mess up the floor. Overall this place would be a place I would rent again.

The unit was not very clean. There was still sand on the floor when we got there. While beautifully decorated, we had trouble controlling the temperature of the two bedrooms. The downstairs was too hot to sleep comfortably and the upstairs was too cold. We ended up finding an extra blanket in the downstairs bedroom to put on the bed upstairs. It was uncomfortable to change clothes or shower upstairs. We had this same problem in unit 203 when we stayed there last year. We love the beach and the beach service was good. We will try another unit next year.

We enjoyed the location of the property. Super close to water and conveniently located. However, our actual unit (206) was pretty dirty and just needed some TLC. Paint wasn’t finished everywhere, older furnishings, tile was filthy, bed frame wasn’t connected to headboard which caused it to bang against the wall with the slightest of movement. The staff was awesome. They helped with a few different issues that we had throughout the week and they went over and beyond to take care of the problems. Overall it was a solid week but we won’t be staying at this unit again; moreover, we would stay at the same property but want a more up to date and clean unit.

It's a beautiful unit, with perfect views and a great location. It's been updated nicely, the matresses were amazingly comfortable, bathrooms have been redone, the master bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. The only thing I would mention is the stackable washer/dryer is old and very very small. It barely holds 2 Beach towels in a load.

I liked the condo, parking lot was ok. but a little tight. Access to the beach was great, view from the condo was great. There were a few minor issues inside the condo.

The condo has all the necessities. The upstairs room is a great getaway retreat to just relax and have some peace and quiet. The patios are amazing and views from both patios are awesome. We loved the chair set up which is included in your price during the summer and was so great that the beach area is not crowded at all since there are only around 30 units, especially looking to the right and left which are so overcrowded due to the big high rise buildings in those areas. The pool is nice and plenty big for the unit, the hot tub is really HOT though and you cannot change the temperature of it. We used the gas grills several times and was so happy to have that option for cooking. Overall a great trip.

We love the Seafarer's location, size, and quiet beach. We ususally rent #209 but it was busy when we wanted to come this year. My only criticism with #206 is the serious lack of good balcony furniture (which is important to us) and a very uncomfortable couch. We'd love an option when a unit we like is unavailable but we will take our chances on another unit unless there are updates to these items. We did like the shower, however.

You can’t beat the location if you want a relaxing beach side rental that is within easy walking or driving distance to activities or stores. You just walk outside to the uncrowded private beach where loungers and chairs are set up for your use. The condos also have your own private decks to enjoy.

Dirty showers. Tile floors were sticky, had to wear shoes while inside. Still sand on the balcony from previous occupant. Furniture and accessories were old and needed a good cleaning. Kitchen was poorly equipped. Lighting throughout was terrible. Dining area was so cramped. Get this, they only had 3 placemats in the dining area. And one extra blanket for the entire unit. TV was the only up to date feature of the entire unit.
