We had a great time. The unit is laid out well and we love the access to the pool and beach. We’ve been visiting holiday surf and racquet for over 20 years. We love it.

We had a blast. Awesome unit and location. Step out the door and the beach is right there. Regardless where you choose. Save your money and book directly. All the other sites charge to many fees.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish! The unit 102 was wonderful (our second stay in this unit) - the beach staff was awesome - just a wonderful vacation from start to finish!

It was nice. The weather could have been better. We were told this February was an unusual cold month. The beaches were beautiful and the condo was very nice. Staff was very friendly.

We are from Lombard IL and wanted to be someplace warm(er) for part of the winter. We enjoyed being on the beach and liked the amenities at Holiday Surf - pool, shuffleboard and pickleball). It was nice having staff on the property. There was a power outage after a storm (tornado may have passed nearby). It would be nice to have a generator for the property as the building to the West has. There was some dispute about the snowbird rate and I was not able to make a reservation loner than 14 days on the website - I should have called.

Our stay was great! We have been coming to HSR for many years. Always a good experience. Loved this unit because it had a washer and dryer. The staff was very helpful.

Stayed at HSRC for over 40 years. This unit needed a little attention to the clustered closets(extra bed pillows, blankets,old pictures) Kitchen had too many trinkets on the countertops. No towel bars or toilet paper holders in either one of the bathrooms. I would choose another unit the next time, even with the stacked washer and dryer. Second bedroom furniture arranged poorly, bathroom door was blocked.

The front desk employees are proof that customer service is not an important value to this rental property owner. Our condo was outdated, old furniture, not very clean. For the price we paid, I had higher expectations. A new plastic, clear shower curtain only cost $5 and the one on our shower looks like it was never replaced. The living room TV speakers have blown out so watching a movie at night had terrible sound quality. We did like the convenience of being on the first floor and walking straight from the patio to the beach.

Had a Great week in Destin. Love the size and convenience of the Holiday Surf & Racquet. My only complaint is that our unit needed some updating. The stove was broke and maintenance was already aware. They replaced it with another used stove from somewhere else in the property. The used stove did not cook well at all. The oven burnt our bread and the stove top cooked really hot. The microwave was missing the handle to open the door and we only had 3 spoons for the whole unit. The only vacuum had a broke handle and was unusable. We love this property but some more money needs to be invested in the updates.

They normally run a great family oriented property and enforce their rules. This trip however, people were smoking on their balconies, flipping butts into the grass, smoking in the walkways. Smoking by the tennis courts, smoking all over the beach..For those of us who can’t stand smoke, the only safe place was in our room or the lobby. Several members of our group had items stolen..shoes, items from the laundry..perhaps they are short staffed like many places and simply don’t have the personnel to enforce the rules..the beach chairs were a nightmare, an absolute disaster trying to get your chairs every day. We were spoiled to have Scott for many many years, the beach manager now was really struggling with all the hot tempers and Karen’s out there. Next year our group will like stay somewhere else for the first time ever. Hopefully they get the place back on track.

Beautiful weather and great vacation. Beach, pool, and facilities clean and well maintained. Unit we stayed in could use updating. Furniture was a bit worn and kitchen needed refurbishing.

This is our second visit to this rental. We have enjoyed our stay both times. Love the walk out to the beach and it is well equipped. We wish there were more places to hand towels on the porch and a mat at the back door but other then they we would stay again when/if we return to Destin.

The condo was in a great location, easy access to the beach and local activities. The room was updated and in good shape...just a couple small issues but nothing to hinder the week.

Very clean. Nice to have your own washer and dryer. Only down side was that this was on the 1st floor and cant see the ocean. Other than that we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.

Some issues but a great place to stay. Too much baby blue color paint for our liking. The pot style coffee maker and the stove burner eyes were both very rusted and worn. The Air went out on day 3, but the staff was attentive and sent technicians out in the evening and came back the next morning and it was repaired. Holiday surf also credited us 100.00 that we did not ask for, for our inconvience. We have stayed at holiday surf over 20 years in many different rooms. We have never been disappointed and this time was no different, between staff members like Anastasia and maintenance we would still highly recommend holiday surf. Scott and the beach staff looked out for everyone's safety, and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Thanks for a great vacation.

We had a great stay. This unit is sooooo close to the beach access. Makes it super easy to run back if needed. Front desk was very helpful with anything we needed. We will def consider renting here again.
