Would recommend Holiday Surf to everyone. Beech service was excellent, staff was very helpful and friendly also. I cannot say anything negative and will be back next year.

We arrived around 1:30 to check in knowing we wouldn’t get our room until 4:00. We were pleasantly surprised when we got the text that our room was ready at 3:10. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition. Definitely looking at staying here again next year!

I love it here 2nd time and already has captivated my heart. Very inclusive and diverse. The guests and people who live there are all so nice. Everyone talks to you like they’ve known you and great for all walks of life.

We stayed at this resort in April and overall it was a good experience. We stayed in unit 512 on the last week in April, which was very quiet and water was too cold to get in but Beautiful beaches! The resort we stayed in was recently remodeled and had everything we needed however bed was not the most comfortable after a few nights of sleeping on it. . Staff was friendly. My only recommendation is to maybe have more activities on site for residence.

We had a wonderful trip and stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club. Our unit (512) was very clean, comfortable, cozy and well stocked. We had everything we needed. We loved the beach, pool and tennis courts. It is very close to everything in Destin but did not feel as busy/crowded as some areas. The staff were helpful and friendly too. We hope to return!

Unit was clean but in need of many repairs. Ice maker wasn’t working, mattress had a large dip( worn out), carpet was stained and in need of replacement. Dimmer switch in kitchen didn’t work properly Kitchen had been upgraded and was pretty nice. My wife loved the power recliner. View of the beach was gorgeous. The crew behind the desk was phenomenal especially Rachel. She got us a mattress topper at 8:00 at night. They gave us complimentary ice due to our non working ice maker. Kudos to the front desk team. Made us feel special.

We always love coming to Holiday Surf. It has been our home away from home for over 10 years now every August.
The condo itself was beautiful. The only complaint I might have is that there is absolutely no pantry and we felt like we had things lying all over the place all week. The other thing is this is the first time we ever had a balcony butt up to another one and we didnt like not having the privacy. Would be great for two families that go together.

We like the facility and location to the ocean. However, 512 needs to be updated with clean carpet, and a head board that fit the frame, higher toilet and fan in the bathroom was noisy. Otherwise, it was good place to stay.

I love this location as it is close to 'old Destin', and is very, very convenient to the necessities like grocery, fish houses, and many restaurants. Holiday Isle is just off the 98 strip, yet VERY quiet. The property is well maintained and Gulf views magnificent. Unit 512 very nice, only negative is balcony located in middle of building with less privacy than many units in either direction 2 or more units away. Kitchen nice. Nice TV- Football playoffs on during this stay.

It was just ok. We didn’t like how the balcony was so open to the neighbors. We could high five each other. Not private at all.

Stayed here multiple times. Had a few problems. Door was fixed quickly (off track) too many tv remotes, friend didn’t know which one to fix. Maintenance fixed it. Maybe mark which remote is for what.

Unbeatable view of beautiful gulf
This seems like a recently renovated unit, compared to the general building condition. The unit is spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
Some things that would really make this unit outstanding are included, as we've rented through VRBO many times, and these amenities make a stay more enjoyable.
1. Bedside lamps, nightstands
2. More than a couple wine glasses
3. Beach chairs & umbrella (we bought and left them for the unit)
4. Dining seating for more than 2 people (2 dining chairs for a unit that sleeps 6)
5. Cable or satellite (not just Roku)
6. Desk lamp and living room lamps
7. New sofa
8. The best would be "owner's chairs" included on the beach vs $40/day added expense, especially if you fly in and don't drive a carload of equipment.

the location of the property was great. Views were beautiful. The room it self needs repairs. Slow bathroom sink and a few other repairs and updates needed. Other then that we had a wonderful time.

I believe that this was the eighth year we have spent an extended time in unit 512 iat Holiday Surf and Racquet. We totally loved our time there this year. We enjoy this unit because it is comfortable and it is very near to the elevators.

Loved staying right on the beach!!! Easy access to the ocean even with the surf being up due to storms. The office personnel was above friendly and helpful! Have stayed there 22 years.

Amazing wonderful place. I having been coming to holiday surf for about t 12 years Stayed in room 512 two years in a row. It’s a beautiful clean condo. Very homey. Only thing is the sliding glass door is very hard to open and close and the drain in the bathroom sink drains very slow. But that is easy fixable things. Will stay there again next year!!!

Overall good place to stay, great location, good view of ocean, nice warm pool, people helpful, nice tennis courts & shuffle board. New floors thru out, the bathroon could have used a little TLC. I would have liked towels for the pool area,big clock on wall in living room, Bedroom electrical outlet would not hold plugs.Less decorations & more convent items, bathroom to small.

We had a wonderful time. The beach was beautiful with the white sand and clear water. The sunsets were amazing! Our condo was nice and clean and we really enjoyed the view from our balcony. This was our first time in Destin and we will definitely be back.

View from the unit was somewhat restricted. Overall, not a bad view, but not as good as the view from either wing of the building. We were late making reservations this year and this was the best available at the time. 15 years staying at Holiday Surf, and we will definitely be returning.

We love staying at the Holiday Surf & Racquet Club, the front desk workers were always very polite and help us anything we asked; the access to the beach was very easy, being I have trouble walking: the room was very nice, the only complaint I had was that the mattress on the king bed was terrible they need a new one, but other than that it was great: I would definitely stay at the Holiday Surf again:

Unit was in transition. Stacked floor tiles were next to night stand. Unit was clean. Too much unusable kitchen gadgets. No kitchen tongs, sheet pan, or 9” Teflon pan. Also only 2 steak knives.
FD staff were courteous. Gym needs ceiling tiles.
I️ enjoy the location. Convince to grocery.

Some items in disrepair. Like the wall plug at the edge of the refrigerator. The wall is actually loose giving no support to the outlet when a plug is pushed in.
Dishwasher detergent holder doesn't always open. Soap is often still caked in the dispenser at the end of the cycle.

My two kids and I came to Destin for a friend's destination wedding. I was looking for something close to the beach. Loved this unit. It was clean, nicely decorated, and loaded with everything we needed. I would stay again. But, while it says up to 5 people, I would question that a little if you have that many people. It definitely would accommodate 2 adults on a super comfy king and 2 small kids on a pullout sofa would work. The 5th person would be on an air mattress. That's why I say it was perfect for me an my two teenage age kids. Also, the facilities was clean, well managed and the staff was friendly. Finally, it was in a great location, not on the commercial strip...more in a residential neighborhood close to a Winn Dixie, restaurants, and tourist shops.

This is our 2nd time to stay at this property (different unit though) we do not have any complaints but maybe a couple of recommendations. The unite 512 did not have any ceiling fans. That would be nice to have. And a light over the shower, it was very dark. The first 2 nights we were there they put the chairs and umbrellas away at or before 6pm, would love it if they kept them out a little longer. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and staff were super nice. We will definitely stay again.
