Mother Daughter Vacation 2026 to celebrate my birthday!! Awesome condo and will definitely book again. Condo was very clean and well stocked with all we needed. The beach view was awesome and the 2 complimentary beach chairs was a great added plus.

We had a beautiful condo on the 7th floor. It was well stocked and clean. Things that are needed for this building: Only 1 elevator is working. The other elevator needs to be fixed. You must wait almost always for an elevator. We did take the stairs down many times. There also should be an elevator at each end of the building. That's expensive but this is a large building and it takes quite some time to get all the people to the bottom level or up. We stayed in the off season. Peak capacity it would have been long waits. The staff was very pleasant.

I arrived at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club the same day the 86-year snow phenomena hit the beautiful Gulf Coast. I had only heard of this snow storm two days before the event. For the first time in my 40 years in Destin, snow was piling up on the roads, vehicles, and palm trees.
Check-in was a breeze with Alison handling my arrival, making this process quick, friendly, and seamless from my vehicle to the unit.
As I stepped into this condo, my initial reaction was “First Class”. These owners made the perfect rental unit.
I got my travel bag into the bedroom noticing the King size bed and tastefully designed room. Once accomplished, I traded my outside flip flops for some warm wool socks and in-house flip flops, then headed to the living room to watch the snow fall.
I could hear the couch calling so, I answered, got comfortable and dozed off watching the snow gently float down to the balcony rail and deck. An hour later, I awakened to a snow-covered balcony. Walking over to the sliding glass door, I looked out over the entire HSRC Resort. A blanket of snow covered the pool area to the beach. The tennis and shuffleboard courts and boardwalk were covered with snow. The Emerald waters of the Gulf of America were steadily caressing the beach with slow, rhythmic motions.
In the mornings the sunrise was spectacular. I could see dolphins just off the beach chasing a large school of fish. The Destin Fleet has set out to make their catch of the day. WOW, this condo is awesome!
Two of the most extraordinary sights I have ever witnessed during my time here was the beautiful Emerald waters of the Gulf and a blanket of snow across this resort. And I saw it all from the balcony of Unit 706, Holiday Surf and Racquet Club, Destin Florida.
I will be coming back! Thank you HSRC.

The experience was wonderful. The condo was clean, neat and wonderfully decorated. It great for us. It had a great view of the beach and ocean. The balcony was perfect. It was well equipped with towels and linens and the kitchen had all the things needed if you wanted to cook meals.

Beach view and access are excellent! We never had to wait on the elevator and our beach chairs were included in our stay! The chairs were a nice perk but they pick them up at 5 so keep that in mind! I don’t know if that’s true of all units so be sure to ask because service is $50.00 a day if not. If you bring your own they have to be set behind the rentals. Our unit was nice, very clean and comfortable. I think they are all a little different and some more basic than others so be sure to ask depending on what you are expecting. I would also call the resort direct to make reservations. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of ramps for your beach wagons, and strollers too. A reminder would be there is not a restaurant or bar on site and no place really in walking distance. LOTS of places to go, but it’s a busy area so keep that in mind. We would definitely stay again !!!

The property was nice and the staff was kind and professional. My only complaint is that you have to take out your trash to a dumpster in the parking lot. Other than that my stay was pleasant.

We love coming to Holiday surf and racquet club. It’s always our go to place. The staff is very friendly and if an issue arises, they are very helpful. Hope to see everyone back in October for the fishing classic

Very good location/right on the beach. Umbrellas, chairs placed along the beach for relaxing. Courteous hotel and beach personnel. Nice room. Big bed. Decent small kitchen/stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. TV in bedroom and living room. Shower only, no bath tub, but nice bathroom. Our room was quiet/7th floor. Good view of beach and ocean (dolphins swimming by).

We enjoyed our stay at 706. The unit was perfect for the 2 of us on our 25 year anniversary. The balcony was great. The rockers were fantastic. Loved sitting and listening to the waves. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well that week, but we still enjoyed the time. WiFi we were given at checkin was wrong. TV was not working, so someone came up and had to switch TV to match the box. That seemed like something that should have been already taken care of prior to us arriving. The situation was resolved quickly. The front desk staff had replied to a couple texts, but then the communication stopped. We would return!

It was amazing. Love it here. We have stayed at silver shells in the pass but Surf and racquet club is so much closer to the ocean and can hear the waves all the time.

We spent 2 weeks at the Surf and Rackett Club. This was our second stay there. Both times we had a very nice unit. They were attractive, location great, the beach was beautiful, clean, and the dolphins gave a daily show. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. This would be the best place in or after late April or May or anytime if you don’t mind temperatures below 44-65 degrees and some do not. Again the units themselves are the best.

My husband and I had a great time at Holiday Surf! We were snowbirds for the month of February. Our unit was perfect! Decorated beautifully, everything we needed, very comfortable, lots of storage, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was very kind and helpful. We will be returning!

We were very pleased with our stay at Holiday Surf and Racquet. We stayed in room 706. It was beautiful! The pictures on the website do it no justice. We spent 6 nights here for our honeymoon and was very pleased with the location and how clean the property was. We were very impressed with the walkways down to the beach. Our only disappointment was the fact that you are given a tag for your beach service chairs and you have to go down before 7am every single morning to reserve a chair on the front row. with us being on vacation it would be nice to rest a morning or two instead of racing to the beach for a chair. All other places we have ever stayed, you get a tag and you tag your chair on day one and that is your chair for the remainder of the week so this was a bit of a surprise to us.

the condo was very nice. Everything was clean and updated and most importantly the mattress was very comfortable. Loved the quick access to the beach and pool. Loved the free umbrella and chair service that comes with this Condo. Destin Harbor was close by. Would definitely rent this condo again. Thank you for a nice vacation.

The condo was decorated in a soothing decor and the view from the private balcony was spectacular. Overall the condo was very nice and all extremely clean. I was disappointed that the A/C would not go below 72 degrees and being the property was managed by the owner we had to purchase umbrella and chairs that were not included with the room price (56.00/day). I would stay there again, however, it just would have been nice to know that fact in advance.

Even though there was a lot of construction going on, it was still very nice. They kept everyone very informed of what was going on each day.
Still a little nervous riding the elevators. They’re very old & make a lot of strange sounds. One day they weren’t working at all..... had to walk up 7 flights of stairs. ��

Great view beautiful beach and beach set up was great. Unit was perfect for the two of us. Better equipped than expected with beach items - umbrella, chairs, board, sand molds, etc. Of course the provided set up by HSRC was all we needed but the extras were there. Kitchen had a few minor issues with older cabinets that did not affect our stay but we also understand owners are in the process of replacing. Sink had a seal leak upon arrival. Reported to management, went out to eat, upon return sink had been repaired and was fully functional. Very fast response for repair that needed to be done ASAP! Kitchen was well equipped with dishes/pots/pans/utensils. Coffee pot & toaster. Very comfortable bed. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing vacation.

The beach was amazing as always! Room was comfortable, could have used a few updates. Needs fan in bathroom, ceiling fan and lights in bedroom, cabinet vinyl is peeling, needs a new screen door. Other than that the room was nice.

Great place to stay. The beach is so nice, well kept. Love that they have their chairs and umbrellas laid out so everyone gets a view. Room and view were perfect. Nice pool area. Great location Only complaint is they only had 2 washing machines and linen exchange 2 days a week. Everytime I tried to use the laundry the machines were was impossible to have clean towels the entire time with little kids in the sand all the time, which is a little gross.

We really enjoyed this location and the condominium. The kitchen had all the utensils we would need, and our unit overlooked the pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, and beach. Side note, the coffee pot is a Cuisinart version of a Keurig and has its own reusable coffee pod.

Not great, shower was way to hot. Toilet seat was very loose, got locked in room and security guy had to come help us. No ice or trays in freezer. A cooler in closet to take to beach would’ve been nice.

Last year, we stayed in unit 703 and absolutely LOVED it. This year, 703 was not available for our dates so we settled with unit 706. This unit did not meet our expectations. Of course, the view is fantastic but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We even chose to sleep on the sofas our 3rd night. The first day, the shower rod and curtain fell while showering. Also, the shower drain does not drain. Unlike unit 703 (our favorite unit), 706 has nothing complimentary in the kitchen like coffee - it is the bare minimum. I would not recommend unit 706 to anyone and will not be returning. I encourage you to check out unit 703!!

Unit 706 was perfect for my husband and me. Very clean and everything in working order. Appreciated the starter products (like paper towels, TP, etc). Balcony view is very very nice. With just one bathroom, having the full capacity of 4 may be an issue. It's a little hike from the elevator, but carts are available to help you move in/out. We were there during peak rental times and still never had a long wait for the elevators. A huge plus for renting from HSRC is the included beach service (2 chairs and umbrella every day). Go early (7am-8am) and you will have a good choice of which to reserve. Just tag your umbrella and it's yours all day. Come and go as you please. Loved it.

We were told at the time of booking and at check in that we would be able to claim beach chairs and umbrella by using tag system. When we get down to the beach day 1, all chairs and umbrellas are tagged, although a good half of them were unoccupied. Guests were clearly claiming their spots then not using them. Guys on the beach would not make new spots. The next morning my wife goes down early in the morning to claim a spot and the beach guys are nowhere to be found, so she claimed a spot on her own. When we went back down the spot was gone ( apparently it was an owner spot unmarked by anything but different color umbrellas ). Beach kid was rude as **** to my wife. Asked for additional toilet paper ( started with 2 rolls for a 5 day stay ) was told I can go to Winn Dixie and get more. Couch was dirty and had random brown stains.
On a positive note the front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful

Unit #706 was nice, clean place. Perfect for our last minute weekend getaway. Was nothing super fancy but it was just wat we needed to relax and escape for few days. Great view of ocean. Location wasnt far from shops/stores.

We have been staying at HS&RC for many years and this condo did not meet our expectations. The condition of the sofa was very poor with no support! We will come back to this property, but not this unit.

This rental was clean and adequate in bath and kitchen. The art was old and cheap but that's ok with me. However, the carpet felt dirty! The sofa and loveseat were old and dirty. It seemed so concerning that I put the extra sheets over it to feel comfortable sitting on it! There was a leak by the patio door that made the carpet squishy wet and the water was never vacuumed during our 4 day stay. We love this property and have visited many times. This unit was very disappointing.

Liked it there especially that it was on the beach and had a good beach view from our balcony .. It was also convenient to restaurants and a grocery store. Overall the unit was clean and comfortable The entry door was a little problem and the pull out trash compartment in the kitchen wouldn't lock in place and kept the cabinet door open, other than that the unit was in good condition. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We had a great rental experience. We do want to make sure someone is aware that the sliding glass door leaks badly... We had a terrible storm the night we arrived and it was just running through the door and onto the carpet. If you want to contact me I have a video of the leak. They need to be changed out...
