Le Zoute at Destin Pointe Resort

We rented Le Zoute for our family who was joining us at another Destin Pointe home and they had a wonderful stay. (BIG family reunion!) The Destin Pointe Vacation Rental Team was so helpful in scheduling and throughout the entire week. The home itself is comfortable, very clean and easy for our two daughters, their husbands and children to enjoy. Plenty of space for everyone. The 'kids', young and old, loved the pool. We all enjoyed several meals together in the living area and pool patio. Destin Pointe as a community has 3 pools to enjoy and also the perfect beach. Everyone loved the fact that we were in a less busy area, but still close to restaurants, groceries etc. Also nice that one free activity per day is included so when some went golfing,or another activity, one person goes for free. Thank you Destin Pointe Vacation Rentals for making our family reunion so great!

We had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay at this property in Destin, Florida. The house was clean and well-maintained, and the private pool was a fantastic bonus for relaxing with family. The beach was absolutely beautiful—just what we were hoping for—and the property’s community pools were also very nice and well-kept. Everything was just as described, and we appreciated the privacy and comfort the home offered. We would definitely stay here again for another family vacation!

This is the second year we've stayed at Destin Pointe and we are always happy with our time there. The properties are great, the grounds are wonderful and the location is convenient to everything. We love having access to the private beach where the seawall protects you from the rough waters - allowing for climbing, snorkeling and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the free boat shuttle to the Harborwalk as well. We took advantage of the bikes provided and scoped out Norriego Point beach nearly as well as the surrounding neighborhoods.

Destin Pointe feels quiet, safe and secluded and yet close to it all. Our family really enjoyed the new infinity pool too!

The house itself was nice. It was clean overall and well appointed. We were surprised to learn that the two levels were entirely separate from one another however. The VRBO description did not make this clear, but the Vacasa description provided two days prior to check-in made it very clear. We were somewhat disappointed with that. It's a great option for separate families staying together, but not so much for a family of five with kids.

We did have a couple of issues with the house. Upon arrival we noticed a weird smell in the kitchen and thought it was likely the garbage disposal. That evening when I went to load the dishwasher a blast of stink hit me like a brick wall. A puddle of yellow stagnant water was sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher for who knows how long. I ran an empty cycle, but the smell did not go away. We also discovered the lower level shower would not work. The handle just spun without turning on. To Vacasa's credit, they sent maintenance right away. Despite multiple attempts to fix the dishwasher smell and operation, it was never fully fixed. The smell has infiltrated the cupboards. The shower did work until our last day and it was back to the same problem. We did appreciate their responsiveness. These just weren't problems they could easily fix with tenants there.
