Spring break mid-March is a perfect time to come to the Fort Walton area. We Loved our stay at Nautilus and the beautiful beach. We ended up booking 3 more days since a blizzard was happening back home! The location was perfect - not as busy as the Destin area. Communication with Nautilus was outstanding! We highly recommend Nautilus.

Loved the condo! Clean, well decorated, and just right for the beach! The pool was clean and not overly crowded and the beach was the same! Loved it!

We recently stayed at Nautilus unit 1602 and enjoyed our experience. The condo is positioned with a beautiful view of the beach from both living room, and bedroom. The staff and check in/out processes were all simple and smooth. Quick walk down to the beach, chair service was included. Bed was comfortable. Condo was clean and equipped with necessities. We were able to get to restaurants and other areas of the island easily from the condo and were able to rent a golf cart from a nearby business and use it to commute around the island. Would definitely recommend coming to FWB and staying with Nautilus.

It was easy to find, park and check in. The front desk was very friendly, it was a well maintained place. Our condo was so nice and very clean, beautiful view of the beach, overall great location and place to stay!

Condo was very quiet and clean. Everything you will need is available in the kitchen, but be sure to bring spices. If you forget there’s a small grocery just next door. The restaurants in the area can be very busy, so plan ahead and have a backup plan in case they’re booked beyond what you’re willing to wait on. We had a great time, spending 99 percent of our time on the beach.

This is our third stay at Nautilus. This unit did not disappoint. Excellent view of the beach. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our own meals. Enjoyable stay for my wife’s birthday.

The unit was lovely and spacious. We overpacked, like usual. There were two full closets to hang our clothes. We also had plenty of drawer space.
We had the best time. We brought our 4 year old. We were happy to find nets and flashlights for crab hunting. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at this condo because of the value. We stayed 8 days total and it was truly a great stay. This particular condo is ocean front and 1 bed 1 1/2 bath. Full kitchen and washer in dryer in unit. It was updated and fresh. I think the only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, I have thick hair and with the ocean water and pool it took me a while to rinse. It in great location to restaurants and a short 10min drive to destin. The beach was clean and at the time of year we went not as crowded until the weekends. Overall the stay was just what we needed clean quiet and relaxing. Perfect adult get away.

This condo was everything I had hoped it would be. We had a great beachfront view. The balcony furniture was very comfortable. The condo was very clean & had everything we needed. All the staff was very helpful & friendly. We will definitely be back next year!

We enjoyed our 25th anniversary getaway! We love FWB and this condo was just perfect for the two of us. Condo is ocean/beach front on the 6th floor. Small balcony but perfect for 2-morning coffee/breakfast and late evening romantic dinners. May consider upgrading the balcony chairs. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend The Nautilus and Condo 1602. Look forward to future stays!

We had excellent communication with all staff that we encountered before and during our stay. We had no elevator issues. The condo had everything that you would expect but what you really want is the view from the balcony or the awesome beach chair service. Im used to more of a public beach access and this stretch of beach was very quiet in comparison. Definitely no complaints on this rental.

The condo was great. The carpet in the master bedroom is old, buckled and needs to be replaced. Also, the balcony table and chairs look like they are circa 1983 and need to be trashed and new ones bought. Great ocean view!!!

Beautiful unit. Nicely decorated. The sofa was a bit hard and uncomfortable but you will have that with a sleeper. The only thing I would recommend is new balcony furniture. We couldn't sit on it. There was no padding on the chairs. That is unfortunate because that is why we rent gulf front units. Please invest in patio furniture. I will rent again once that is done.

We had a wonderful stay, the property was beautiful & our condo (1602) was pristine. The location was great, the staff was super friendly & helpful - we will definitely stay here again. I would have given 5 stars in all categories, however the elevators kept going out or took way too long to respond. We also had issues with a beach attendant from Sunset Beach Service over how the “complementary chair” program worked, I think a handout should be given in the condos to explain because when you ask them questions they can be awfully rude. I didn’t include that in my rating because it’s not a reflection of the Nautilus, but that of the beach service. I just wanted to include that because it made it hard to want to go use the chairs.

Good except the mattress cover was soiled (not clean ) , and the fan in the bedroom needs to be balanced , it makes a loud noice noise, but everything else was great and we will stay there again

We had a very nice stay. Loved the neutral decor. The only windows face the ocean so it is easy to forget everything else. It was well-equipped. Everything worked. Would definitely rent this unit again. Loved the 6th floor view. We have been frequent visitors to the area for years and have stayed a number of times at Nautilus. Property has been upgraded a bit since we last visited.

This was my second time staying at The Nautilus, but first time in this unit. The view of the ocean from the balcony is amazing. They did a great job with the updated furnishings inside. The bed is comfy (you can see the ocean from bed if the curtains are drawn too), there's ample closet and dresser space, the shower is nicely tiled and clean with lots of hot water, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking.
I will mention that there is a space in the lower kitchen cabinets where maybe an ice maker may have been, which would have been nice for our frozen drinks, but the fridge does make some ice (we ended up buying bags of ice so no biggie). There weren't any throw blankets for the living room area, so those would be a nice addition for the future. Also, we noticed the bedroom fan making some noise upon arrival, but maintenance came by and fixed it the next day.
The beach is clean and wasn't too crowded. We pretty much stayed on property due to COVID, but we did get some takeout from Stewby's down the street and The Donut Hole and Back Porch in Destin.
Overall a great stay, we'll be back for sure!

We loved it here. The condo was nice and clean. It felt like home. The chair service at the beach was awesome. Ran very well by Evan. The view was great. It was quiet. We’re planning our next trip there now.

We loved the condominium! It was beautiful, just like the description said. Everything worked without a problem. Beautiful view! We had everything we needed or wanted. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had with a rental. Everything was so nice. We would stay there again for sure!

We had a wonderful stay!! 10 days in paradise!! The unit 1602 was beautiful all beds both king and sofa beds were comfortable!! Gulf front at affordable rates its our second time there and we will be back for a third we paid double last year at a bigger condo complex for less time!!! So truly you cant beat the rates at Nautilus!! I highly recommend

The view from this 6th floor rental is great! Very clean. Didn't use the kitchen much other than the coffee pot. The only negative was the sliding glass doors to the balcony were really hard to open and close. Otherwise, we were very satisfied and had a wonderful time.

I have stayed at the Nautilus many times and have enjoyed it, sometimes twice a year. But this unit 1602 sucks. Nice appointments but they have a governor on the Air Conditioner, during the day ok but you have to have fans on super high to try and sleep at night with no covers on till early in the morning. Maybe ok for some but I never have had this situation anywhere else where I have stayed. The bedroom needs shades or drapes. They have flimsy slats that don't even cover the full windows. At 6am it is so bright in the room you think you woke up on the beach, (wish the owners were as bright). Coffee pot went out but this can happen. Not blaming this on the Nautilus as units are individually owned but if this is where its going, I will be looking for another location
