As a family of 5 we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and in a great condition. It had a lot of necessities covered, even the small ones like new salt, pepper and dishwasher liquid. The pools are nice for both small kids and adults. Beach access is close and easy. Location is quiet but close to the center of Destin

Destin pointe is a great little gated community. You can easily walk to the beach or bay which was great for the red flag days. All of the pools were great but we had a private pool at our house. Everything was super easy. You go straight there check in at gate and drive straight to the house, code comes to you on phone. If there is anything you need a simple text and the management super helpful. Our pool was dirty and gate broke after Bertha winds and they quickly cleaned and fixed it right away without us asking.
My only issue was cleanliness. The house was basic clean such as clean sheets, bath, superficial but not deep clean on certain areas. The floors felt grimy, the cabinets and doors had some grime stains. Nothing gross but it could use a deep clean. The light over the shower was out and the bedroom fan made some weird noises. Overall a great stay but some it could use some minor improvements and attention.

The house was clean and as advertised. The shower in the main bath is a bit cramped, but otherwise everything was great. The huge front porch is perfect for morning coffee. Easy walk to beach access. Our only complaint would be the next-door neighbor who had two parties during our stay that went well past the 10:00 pm "quiet time" cutoff.

We had such a wonderful time on this trip! The house was extremely clean and had very easy access to the beach. The pool was amazing — the water was warm and heated, which made it even more enjoyable.
The kitchen had all the basic items we needed to cook dinner or prepare a quick meal, and I truly felt at home during our stay. Everything was spotless and very comfortable.
There are great restaurants nearby, all within about 3 miles, which made everything very convenient.
We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach vacation home! The location couldn’t be better — nestled in a walkable and bike-friendly community with direct access to the beach. Everything felt so easy and relaxing, from morning strolls along the shore to sunset bike rides around the neighborhood.
The community amenities were a huge bonus — three pristine pools, cozy bonfire gatherings, and plenty of extras that made our trip feel both fun and luxurious. Whether we were lounging by the water or enjoying a quiet night under the stars, this place offered the perfect balance of adventure and rest.
Highly recommend for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind and recharge by the coast. We’re already planning our return trip!

2 br home, yet somehow plenty of room for everyone to be spread out and comfortable. We had a shower handle break, and there was great communication. It was as taken care of as soon as possible. There was trash pick up on most days. Pest control and pool guy came during our stay, and were very kind, and asked if we had any immediate concerns, which we didn’t. Bicycles on the property made it very easy to ride to the beach. Pool was a very nice amenity. I honestly felt safe in Destin Pointe, and I felt valued. Often on vacation, I feel like someone to be endured, like all the other summer people, but I felt like an appreciated guest during our stay.

Great location, I loved that we had bikes, beach wagons, chairs all available. We arrived early and we were able to check in early! Great staff and home was beautiful. No need to pay for heated pool. The sun took care of that!

House was beautiful,had everything we needed,short walk to the beach and pools,had plenty of things to do in neighborhood,enjoyed a forth of July parade and fireworks.

The house and location were great. We could easily walk to the beach and pool. It was nice having access to a pool at the house and a bigger one near the beach. The walk to beach was nice because there was a pond on the way where we got to see baby ducks and turtles. We all truly enjoyed our stay here.

We had a wonderful experience AS ALWAYS with Destin Pointe Realty. Everything was as described. Only thing missing was the TRAM. That's not on the rental company though, as I understand it, the tram is operated by the HOA there at Destin Pointe.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shore Fun. Very clean and freshly updated. The people who stayed prior to us must have paid to have the pool heated because it was nice and warm. Communication with Destin Pointe Rentals was great. Quick and friendly responses. We got locked out on our last day. Had paid for a late check out and believe the entrance code changed automatically at 10am (normal check out time). We were quickly able to get a new code and get in (on Easter Sunday). Obviously wasn't convenient to have this happen, but was grateful to get a quick resolution. Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. The only thing we missed was a view of the water, but still really enjoyed our stay.
