Have been going here for years for yearly vacation. It has always been a wonderful experience. I have recommended HSR to many friends and they have enjoyed their stay! Will be coming back!

Very nice property! Guest Services counter was always manned- very friendly and helpful staff! The condo was nicely appointed with updated appliances and new furniture. The pool was heated and very comfortable. There was always and umbrella and chairs available for us at the beach. One elevator was down but they were working to update it- we understand repairs sometimes need to be made. Gad s wonderful time!

We stayed a total of 3 weeks this year. The temperatures were mostly in the 60's the first week but were mostly in the 70's for the last two weeks. We walked the beachalmost every day

We always enjoy our stays at Holiday Surf, and usually stay in room 622. Love the view from the patio and the
curtains in the bedroom keep the room dark for sleeping. Also the fan in the bedroom is really nice.

We had a wonderful time at the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. This was our first time in Destin. Everything was simple and easy. We had no issues with our condo. It was a short walk to the beach. The umbrella and chair service was amazing.

Great experience in a nice, clean, affordable room. Bed was super comfortable! This unit is farther on the end of the building so you have a better view than one that’s closer to the middle.

Beautiful view from 6th floor. Nicely furnished and very clean. The management was welcoming and accommodating. Restaurants and attractions are a short drive away. We can highly recommend this property.

We love Holiday Surf. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed for the week. Beach service was great. Ryan had us set up every day and even helped with our beach cart.

Condo 622 is perfect. The view was perfect for watching the morning dolphins and the evening sunsets. Very clean. Provided beach chairs which was nice for evening or early morning before the resort chairs were available.

Clean and comfortable unit on 6 th floor with balcony ocean view. Never waited for an elevator during our 4/27-5/4/2024 trip. Laundry on each floor was convenient. Nice gated, walkable neighborhood of this very well maintained facility.

WE stayed in room 622.The balcony view was awesome. The grounds were clean and loved that it was a gated condo. The front desk staff were very polite and greeted us with smiles. The room was a one bed one bath with everything we need for our stay, clean and comfortable. The private beach, tennis/pickle ball court, and pool was very very nice! Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided every morning.

This (October,2022) was our third stay in 622. I love it. I love the decor and the westerly gulf view. The condo is clean and well-appointed. The King bed is very comfortable. Water pressure is great. An umbrella and chairs were included with our stay. That's a big plus - worth about $50 a day. The premises are clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.
HSRC is conveniently located in the heart of Destin. It is close to Target, Winn-Dixie, McDonald's,Hobby Lobby and many wonderful restaurants.
And it's all just steps from the sand and waves. I can't wait until next year!

I will rate this stay as 5 stars! We enjoyed our visit and will
be back at some point! The only thing we were a little let down by, was not having a table on the back patio and low chairs. Higher standing chairs and a table to go with it, would have been amazing while I was working from my laptop, listening to the waves.

Great place to stay. Bed was comfortable. Could have been a bit cleaner and for some reason there was a bad smell the entire time we were there. However, we still had a great time and enjoyed our vacation. Also really liked that the condo came with complimentary beach service daily.

our condo was great! very nice accommodations with great views, clean, and spacious. would definitely stay there again. the only issue with the premises was the construction around the building. all the sidewalks and grounds had been removed and taped off. the tiled floor on the 6th floor at the elevator was removed, and you had to walk on board planks when entering/exiting the elevator. once completed it will look very nice.

The stay was excellent. The room and location was terrific. The room was right on the ocean and very clean and organized as advertised. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Centrally located to many restraunts and shopping stores.

Fantastic! The unit was as advertised maybe better. The view is awesome! Got to see porpoise swimming from the beach as well as from the balcony throughout the day.
The property was very convenient to restaurants, seafood markets as well as shopping. Pack a little patience when traveling around dinner time but was all worth it. Service at Boschamps, Louisiana Lagniappe, Acme Oyster House & Dewey’s Destin Seafood was excellent as well as their food. Highly recommend Sexton’s Seafood Market to get Royal Red Shrimp as well as their $6.95 per lb. Gulf shrimp!
We will definitely be back to this property to have another great Destin Getaway!

This is my 16th year staying at HSRC, I usually stay in the summer and fall. This was my first experience in the winter and HSRC never disappoints! I have stayed in unit 622 before and definitely picked it again due to the overall condition of the condo (great view of the sunset including nice balcony furniture, plenty of storage in the bathroom and ample supplies in the kitchen- however, definitely need a keurig machine).

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing getaway and this condo served that purpose. Very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. The front desk was very professional and helpful with any questions. The housekeeping did a superb job our condo was very clean and smelled pleasant.

Our room was wonderful, but our experience checking in was pretty poor. We showed up at 1:45 pm (7/11/20) and our room wasn’t ready, so we went to the grocery store and A restaurant to get dinner thinking by the time we got back, the room would be ready. I called again at about 3 PM, but was told the room wasn’t ready still. I asked her what time check in was and she said it “starts at 4.” We showed up at the hotel at 4:30 PM and the room still wasn’t ready. I asked her “isn’t check in at 4?” And she just replied again “check in BEGINS at 4,” as if to insinuate that I should not expect my room to be ready at check in time, which in my opinion is unreasonable. She even admitted to me that our room was the second to last room to be cleaned, so my question is: if we tried checking in early, why wouldn’t our room be moved up to accommodate us? I am sure I wouldn’t have been afforded the same courtesy had I wanted to check out late, considering how this situation was handled. So I had to wait in my car in the heat with my wife pregnant with twins and my toddler and eat our dinner for another 45 minutes before the room was finally ready after 5 PM. Overall, the staff that was working that day were not very friendly. I wouldn’t describe them as warm, compassionate, or understanding by any means, and these are qualities I would want in front staff for a resort my family has been frequenting since I was born. Additionally, the code the staff gave me to get into the gate did not work the entire time we were there, even though I asked about it to be fixed at least twice.

We love this unit and this was our second time staying there. We love the feel of the decor, the cleanliness, and the neatness of the place. It looks like a great people owe this unit. We love the location of the unit and the view from the balcony.

The beach was perfect and the condo was great. The WiFi in the until was awful but that didn’t bother us too much since most our time was spent at the beach. The view from the balcony is what really sold us with this unit! I’m confident we will be back to HSRC!

We are happy with our stay in unit #622. There is kind of a long walk from the lobby to the condo, but it is definitely worth it for the view. Only thing that i would like to add is, in the pictures before booking our vacation, there was 2 pull out beds in the living room. And when we arrived, there was only 1 couch in the living room and 2 chairs. We were a little disappointed in this because we have a son & daughter who is 14 & 15 years old and obviously they don't sleep in the same bed. We mentioned it to the front desk and they were very willing to help. A few minutes later, we found a fold up cot in the closet so we were fine for the rest of our stay. I highly recommend this condo and the VIEW...OMG!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN RENTING CONDO #622....the condo was also clean.
And I definitely pay attention to these things because me and my family are very clean people!
We stayed here from june 21 - 27 and the laundry room on the 6th floor was also a plus. Thank you so much. We stayed at holiday surf and raquet club last year, this year and we will be booking our next trip to destin at holiday surf and raquet club! You will also be right around the corner to alot of shopping and restaurants!

This place was absolutely amazing with a beautiful view! It was clean, up to date, and the location was awesome. This was our first time doing something like this on our own and my hubs and I will definitely be back. Didn't have any issues at all. The Front Desk people were amazing and very helpful. Was kinda sad because we wanted to sign the guest book that was there but we didn't pack a pen and there were none in the condo. We were going to take the dolphin cruise but ran out of time however our last morning while sitting on balcony drinking coffee we got to see them in the ocean. It was the best ending to our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
PS... only thing is fixing front room fan so that when it is on it doesn't feel like it is about to come out of ceiling.

The condo unit was nice and clean. As far as the unit goes there were only a few minor things; kitchen sink was small so it was more like a bar sink- not really great when cooking in the unit, the bathroom is small and the shower/tub is not made for tall people- my husband is 6'4" and had to duck to get into the shower, the bed was comfy if you like a firmer mattress. The air stopped working but the maintenance staff was there in no time and fixed that. Just minor little things but for the price it was a good unit. As for the area, the beach was small, or should I say narrow, which was a bummer if you like to walk the beach because you feel like you are on top of each other. Seaweed was terrible! But you can't control that. We did see dolphins, manatees, crab, and large fish which was very cool.

It was our first time to Destin. Not sure how we lucked out but we found the perfect place at the perfect location. We could not have been any happier! Looking forward to going back!
