Condo was a good size for us (family of 4), but could use a deep clean. You could tell the cleaners are doing their best because the fridge/stove/microwave etc were super clean but the couch had stains and so did the curtains especially. I would upload photos if I could. The bathrooms also need updating. Kids liked the bunk beds.

Like every vacation there are bumps in the road but overall this location was great to stay at and I look forward to staying there again with my family. They helped us out every time something happened like the fridge not working. My family and I had a wonderful time staying here and can't wait to come back!

I was a little hesitant to book this condo at Sandpiper Cove because we are used to staying at a nearby high rise with ocean views. For the price to be so affordable, I was thinking there must be a catch. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the condo. Accommodations are always what makes or breaks a vacation for me. There was plenty of room to move around and not feel cramped. The washer dryer combo was great! The kitchen was big enough and the granite countertops was a nice upgrade. The mattress in the master was comfy, new pillows would be good, but we made it work. The couch and recliners were cozy, a little dated, but not unclean so that helped us settle in. Access to the beach was a short drive or walk, what ever you prefer, and we had a nice view of the pool from the back deck. Staff was friendly and we met some other nice families. I highly recommend and would stay in unit 2070 again.

While it’s not too close to the beach but the campus is really quiet and close to everything like shops, restaurants etc.

A weathered condo with some scuffs. You can tell many families with kids have stayed there. Close to a pool but you have to drive to the beach. The water taxi is great!

Our room was nice when we arrived the staff was so friendly. The room was clean. My bed was a little to plush for my back. But the kids enjoyed the room and sofa bed. We been coming to here for 12 years and always feel at home.

We had to relocate to a different condo. The washer, refrigerator, and ice maker did not work. We lost all of our perishable groceries and had to pack up and relocate to another condo. Management was very helpful finding us a nicer condo. The owners compensated us for the loss of groceries but nothing for the inconvenience of switching condos. The living room and deck furniture are uncomfortable. One can actually feel springs on your bottom when sitting on the couch. We will not be renting unit 2070 again. Still love the Cove, but will stay in a different unit next time. Please advise what exactly is “recently updated” as on your condo description. We do not recommend this condo...

Had a great time and loved the condo and neighborhood. However, we had to a bit more cleaning than expected when we arrive. Lots of sand left under the rug, dirty sheets on the sofa, random stuff left being by previous guests. A little disappointing but didn't really interfere with the great time we had staying in the condo. The property is in a great location. Right across the road from a grocery store and mere minutes from awesome restaurants, shopping, recreation. Our specific condo has a good few of the court yard/pool right behind it but beyond that it's hotels. If you're looking for a good view from the room get beach side. The view isn't that big a deal because it's like 2 minutes from the private beach.

Neighborhood is calm and quiet with perfectly pleasant residents. The beach is beautiful. The hot water was virtually no existent (90+ degrees who needs it) and it seemed like the floors could have been cleaned better but we cleaned everything from top to bottom as soon as we walked in the door. All in all we loved everything about our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sandpiper Cove. The unit was very clean and was a great location in Destin. Easy access to beach, groceries and shopping. Furniture is a little dated but the unit was very clean. Bed in master is extremely comfortable.

Every vacation in Destin is wonderful, but this condo has been neglected. Everything was clean, and we had no issues with bugs (as has happened occasionally at other properties), but the kitchen faucet was not secured, the master bath tub spout was loose, some of the kitchen floor tiles were cracked and moving, the reclining chair had a torn and broken back, and the furniture just seemed kind of old and tired. We did love the granite counter tops, the appliances (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher) were very nice, and the wall mounted toilets with power assisted flush was a great feature. If regular maintenance was done we would have no complaints.

We loved this property overall, there was just a couple thing we would suggest for future stays. Pro's beds were very comfortable! good tv's and seathing inside. Con's Seating on the outside deck is bad and needs to be replaced or new cushions, and at least 1-2 chairs added. The unit didn't have adequate basics like paper towels, dish soap, only had glass cups (plastic would be suggestible with small children). And one decent frying pan for egg's would be a big plus.

It was our first time staying here and it was so wonderdul. The condo was just like the pictures and was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This location is in the heart of every place you need and want to go. I am already looking to book for next summer for all of my extended family!
