As someone who visits this area multiple times a year, this unit is hands down our favorite. Located directly on the beach, you cannot beat the 2 minute walk to the water. This unit is filled with any need you could have and truly provides comfort and relaxation. You will not be disappointed when booking this unit.

Best beach experience we have had in years. Unit 1202 is excellent for a couple. 1 bedroom with 11/2 baths, excellent bed & washer/dryer. Excellent location.

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway and this condo was perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated and the location was perfect - right on the beach. Everything was great! The condo, the weather, the staff. We will definitely stay here again and hopefully we can stay longer next time!

Much needed break from the real world. Perfect, close beach access and view from the balcony was like being on it! Only complaint was the pool heater was broken during our stay. Pool is on the back and shaded most of the day. Condo was very clean and comfy;bed was great!

Excellent location on beach and in the building. Unit #1202 with one bedroom. Only one floor up so easy to use the stairs. Ocean views from the living area and bedroom. Listening to the waves crash while falling asleep cannot be overrated! Units on the ground floor have easier access, but to me are less attractive as they can see only the dunes, not the ocean.
The condo building is not new, but has interesting architecture and is nicely maintained. Carts are provided for move in and move out. Two elevators and multiple staircases, so good accessibility.
Our unit is a pretty awesome rental nicely furnished and mostly in good condition. The photos on this site of the unit are relatively accurate, but were taken some time ago and it is not quite as pristine as in the photos. The master bathroom had some improvements over the years, but is still somewhat stuck in the 80's (cream colored laminate cabinets with oak top edges, and mermaid decorative prints on some of the tiles ). The edges of the laminate bathroom cabinets are starting to peel. Molding could use some touchup painting. The corners of the bathroom could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly (see my review on Google Maps which has actual photos ). Those are really just nits though - had a great time and would highly recommend.

The Nautilus was convenient to Destin,because we attended a wedding there. The unit was updated and very clean. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils . And the built in ice maker was great!Bed was very comfortable. Good location to pool and beach access.

It would be hard to beat this condo. It was well equipped from kitchen supplies to rafts and pool/beach toys and chairs. The direct view of the beach was awesome from the balcony and master bedroom window. There was plenty of parking each day and close to the elevator.
The location was what also impressed us. There are 7 different restaurants within a 1/2 mile. Some even had water view dining.
We will rent this condo again on our next Florida vacation.

Great view of gulf. Really enjoyed the balcony! The bed was uncomfortable so much so that the pull out bed on the couch was better. Couch was not comfortable either. Spent most of the time on the balcony to enjoy the view.

Nice, quiet place to stay that made social distancing easy! Older unit, but some nice updates in kitchen and very comfortable king bed!. Great view and having 2 chairs and umbrella on the beach was perfect! Pools was generally filled with kids so did not use it. When let management know about a broken curtain rod and view obstruction by a window washing apparatus they immediately made the repair and moved the apparatus. Overall very relaxing place to stay!

We have stayed at the Nautilis before and had not been back for 12 years. It was like coming back to a familiar place. It feels like home when we stay there. It was great to relive some memories and create new ones. We will return as often as we can.

Reservation process was very simple, we booked online. We received a call on the day of our arrival giving us instructions on arriving after their office closed. The beach chairs and umbrella were as promised and no problems encountered. WiFi in the condo was good. This complex has the closest balcony to the tide line of any we have used on Okaloosa Island.

This condo had everything we needed to make our stay absolutely wonderful! The views of the beach were spectacular and we didn’t have to use the elevator which made access to the beach quick and easy! Onsite management was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

May is a great time to visit Nautilus: great weather and good water conditions. We saw lots of marine life and shore birds this trip. Unit 1202 is a nice, clean unit with the perfect location for beach goers. All appliances and fixtures were in good working order and we liked the cork floors.

The location was great and the condo was nice. A small complex, but nice. The only problem I had was when I was running bath water, the handle to lift the stopper broke off as if someone had already broken it and just put it back without reporting it. But the office had the maintenance guy come right away and fix the problem though.

This one bedroom rental was perfect for my 17 year old daughter and I. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Tastefully decorated and equipped with everything. The beach access was perfect and just a short walk.

We greatly enjoyed our time in Unit 1202. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the beach service fantastic. The kitchen was modern and very well stocked with dishes, glassware and cookware. The bathrooms were clean although a bit dated, but that was fine. The only drawback was that the "heated" pool seems to have a heater that will not accommodate the pool size, so it was not fully heated...more like 70 instead up 78-84, so our daughter was not too happy. We prefer quiet, low traffic settings and this was great with the exception of second hand smoke drifting from other balconies. We made the quick drive into Destin to enjoy some of our favorite places like The Donut Hole, Vinnie's Shamrock pizza and Adventure Putt Putt.

This is our first experience spending a month in a condo on the beach during the winter. We really did not know what to expect. It has been wonderful having time to just relax without having to push ourselves to d everything like being it is on a week’s vacation. Our condo unit is located beach front and just steps to the sandy beach. The condo is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The amenities are very adequate for relaxing, cooking meals, watching tv(2 tv’s), or relaxing on the patio overlooking the Gulf. If you enjoy walking on the beach, it is long and wide with sugar white sand. We walked 4 miles on one day and still did not reach the end of the beach that is available from your condo. If you enjoy aviation museums, this is the place. Yesterday we spent a whole day enjoying the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. Restaurants are numerous and of course seafood is in abundance. Many choices in Fort Walton and Destin is a short drive away. Shopping is great. We have found the Churches to be very friendly and we have enjoyed having a church family while being away from home. Fort Walton is an excellent central location to enjoy the beaches from Pensacola to Panama City. We would recommend Fort Walton to anyone looking for a great beach experience and the Nautilus Condominiums have been great with friendly staff and always available to help make your stay a good experience. Nautilus is highly recommended for you stay.

The unit was very clean and convenient to access the beach. Only issue was the thermostat was set at a temperature and the fan ran continuously. Maintenance person had no idea how to fix it...

The Condo is perfect size and location. This is our 2nd year in a row to stay at the condo. We LOVE the separate ice maker in the unit as well. It is so handy. The unit is always clean and has everything we need. The office staff is helpful with any questions we have. The beach service is great too.

This condo's location on the property was great; right outside our door were steps to go down to the pool (directly below us) and down to the beach. Very easy access to Hwy 98 to get over to Destin. As far as the inside of the condo, I'd say we were about 70% satisfied. The kitchen was nice, it seemed like it had been updated, because it has an extra utility sink, as well as an ice-making refrigerator...very handy for putting in your cooler to bring down to the beach. The living area was nice as well, the TV could have been bigger though. The balcony was very nice to view the beach and ocean. Loved the king size bed with memory foam!! We got wonderful sleep. The huge downside of the condo is the bathroom. It seems like they updated everything else and still have that to do. The sinks and cabinets were old (looks like 80s)...the bathtub/shower was terrible/gross, and the water sprayed out very forcibly, which we did not like. Had issue with one of the sinks and it took them 2 days to fix. Also noticed that the internet connection was not great, which is a huge minus to us. We had a lot of connectivity problems. We did enjoy our stay besides those things, but I don't think we will be back to stay at this condo.
