We booked here as a rebook to Miramar Beach due to the hurricane. We were very happy with our choice. We had 9 people-7 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. The downstairs, outside grill/bar area with a TV was fantastic! Although we were not impressed with the grill. It took over an hour to cook 12 burgers-it didn’t get hot enough. There was also an outside ice machine in the area with all the beach stuff and that was great! We had plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and a wagon (until it broke ☹️). We were very happy with our choice in a place to stay very last minute.
I only had one issue with the property management where we were trying to locate extra blankets and they just kept commenting there should be some in the closet but we could not locate. I finally told them never mind as someone in our party brought an extra one.

We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful place to stay during our vacation. The place was amazing and decorated so fun and beachy. Just a short walk across from the beach. We made the walk at least three times a day!

This was a lovely property in a small community very close the beach. Very convenient and well kept. The communication from the management company was some of the best I've experienced.

We stayed at D Place to Be last week. The condo was very nice, clean, fully stocked and ready for my family of 11. The beds were so nice and comfortable. We sat on the deck in the morning, made some new friends down in the pool and would absolutely recommend you visit. Julie kept in touch before, during and after our stay. Location is close to The Hangout, Lulu’s, The Track and the beach. Thank you for a great visit.

We rented the D Place to Be 4 bedroom house to enjoy some time away from the Minnesota winter weather with family and friends.
The house was awesome, clean, well stocked kitchen. Easy to check in and check out also. Very good location to get around town and see various events and establishments. Communication also was fast to answer our few questions we did have. Hope to be back to see things we missed on this trip��

We had the best Labor Day weekend getaway. So much so, we decided to stay an extra day. The house was clean, decorated so cute, and was the perfect setup for our party of 8. The management staff was wonderful with communications and prompt in their responses. The beach is super easy to get to and the access is so close to the property. We hope to come back to Pelican Place D very soon!

From the moment we arrived, our expectations were exceeded. The home was beautifully decorated and spotless. The layout was perfect for our group, offering plenty of space to relax, eat and unwind. The location was amazing with a short walk to the beach, where the sand is powdery white and the water was warm and crystal clear.
There’s also plenty to do nearby- great restaurants, charming shops and even some fun excursions. It truly felt like a home away from home. Whether you’re looking for a fun-filled beach adventure or a peaceful retreat - “D” Place to be has it all!! I would highly recommend!!!!

We loved this cottage! It was clean and spacious. All the bedrooms are upstairs with 3 bathrooms upstairs and one down. There was a beach view from one of the master bedrooms upstairs. The other master had a view of the pool. We used the washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, water dispenser in the refrigerator, the toaster, and the blender. Everything worked great. We didn't use it, but there was an ice machine in the storage area.
This cottage is in easy walking distance (5 minutes or less) to the boardwalk to the beach. There is a not-very-busy 2-lane road to cross with a crosswalk. There is a storage area next to the parking with many beach items including a wagon, sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and more. There is also a blackstone grill with a large table and a mounted TV in the parking area.
Even though the pool was very busy during our stay, it was very clean.
There were many restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir shops nearby.

Great location for walking to the beach! Property is exactly how it’s pictured on line. The outside grill area was a hit, although we had to work on cleaning it before we could use it! Easy check in and out, and we were even able to get in a little early! We were pleased with our stay!

We stay here for Thanksgiving week. The condo was clean and very nicely decorated. The walk to the beach is across a main street but a dedicated crosswalk and beach access was a very short-walk away. Everything in the house was in perfect working order. The grill and TV on the low level was great for an evening dinner and a grilled breakfast. We spent almost every morning on the deck drinking out coffee. The rental company was extremely responsive, even on a holiday week. We would agree - D is the place to be!

Our rental experience was top notch. Perfect location in regard to beach and food. The property was extremely clean and well managed, and we had no issues with communication with the renters. I would absolutely recommend for others to stay here. The only issue we had was with the door handle of the entrance, which came off upon first use but easily fixable. Overall an amazing experience!
