The place was exactly what we needed for 3 adults and 2 kids. The basics are there for what you need but Recommend bringing things like tongs for grilling and a large knife if you plan on watermelon etc.
Think the only downside about the property was the lobby always smelled like cigarette smoke because the workers would smoke in the parking garage outside the door.

First let me say that our room was fine. However, the overall stay was less than we desired. Security staff was rude! There were three of us wanting our parking passes at 4:30, prime time for people coming in. However, the two security people were sitting in the office talking and told us they were too busy to get them. Come back in an hour! Who are they serving? And when leaving in a blowing rain they told us we could not load under the building, not very friendly.
And then there was the smoking. I observed 3 balconies lighting it up and several smoking by the pool. Not enjoyable sitting on balcony with the terrible smell of cigarette and cigar smoke. Where is the security controlling that? Oh they were probably in a meeting.
Not sure that I will return to Ocean House. We've been there several times, but this time probably did us in.

Ocean House 1506 was perfect - perfect location, perfect layout for our family, perfect in amenities and cleanliness! Gulf front location with amazing views!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Condo was furnished completely. No issues at all. We lived the location to the shrimp festival, cause we walked to it each day and didn't have to move the car. Only thing was, we had 3 cars and only 2 parking passes, but the security guard gave us another pass to park across the street in the overflow parking area. We will definitely keep this place in mind in the future.

Ocean House 1506 was exactly what I was looking for for my family vacation. We went in off season (late September), so it wasn’t too crowded. The condo was nice and looked recently renovated. It was clean, just a couple dust bunnies on the floor in a few places. It’s not a big building, so we never had to wait long for the elevator. The walkway to the beach was great because there are no stairs to lug your beach cart up & down. It’s also a very short walk across the sand to where we set our chairs up. The management responded quickly to my questions when booking and maintenance responded quickly to a small issue I had. I would gladly stay there again.

Overall it was great for us! The kitchen was a little small but still good. Our bed blanket had brown spots on it but once washed it was all good. We still loved the location and things were handled when needed. We would recommend this rental.

My family and I absolutely loved this vacation rental! Right on the beach, close to restaurants and shopping, and a nice clean pool! The condo was also clean. The front door didn't close all the way unless you pull it but other than that we loved it! Gulf Shores is one of our new favorite places to visit!

Bathroom’s we’re very clean. The baseboards,furniture, headboards were very very dusty. I could smell dust when we walked in. Matt in front of sink was filthy. We loved the location. Beds were very comfortable.

although I saw them "cleaning" the pool, the pool was never clear, the longer in the day the greater the film that developed on the top of the water. Tough to look out on our balcony and see the pools at neighboring places crystal clear, and ours was very cloudy. We also had multiple encounters with "roaches" and bugs inside the condo. Other than those minor things, view was SPECTACULAR, beach was great, just a terrible timing due to the denseness of kelp or seaweed, and the jellyfish.

Overall the condo was great. However, we had 10 people staying in one unit and we were only provided 3 rolls of toilet paper for the entire 3 days that we were there. Not a big deal but it was still hard to believe. There was also only one roll of paper towels & one extra trash bag provided. Again, not a big deal but when trying to keep the place clean with 10 people, it was hard to do so without the proper supplies. Needless to say, we had to go out and buy toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for our stay. We left all of these items that we purchased behind in hopes to help out other tenants expecting to be provided with more than one of each item.

We had a great time with our family at Ocean House #1506, couldn’t have asked for a a better location, right on the beach! We loved the pool, and it was just a few steps from there to the beach.

The building is nice and the room we stayed in was nice. But the big turn off that will keep us from staying again is the lack of cell service in the building and the horrible wifi. If you stay here plan on it being a week away and no contact with anyone. The Wi-Fi was absolutely horrible never worked. And the people who manage the building said it is what it is. The whole building is Wi-Fi.

Stayed in the unit the first week of April 2022. The unit was clean and well maintained. 3 large bedrooms which easily handled our group of 6.
Would stay there again!! Beautiful weather, nice pool and beach. Not as crowded as we stayed after Spring Break.

As much as we enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores, we were very disappointed in our condo cleanliness. Dust everywhere, mold in the showers, a drain that didn’t work, and so much sand that we had to vacuum the entire place upon arrival. We understand that there will always be some sand, but the amount was excessive. We paid a cleaning fee and expected things to be much cleaner for us arriving as well. We’ve enjoyed doing business with Gulf Shores Rentals in the past, but not sure if we will continue.
And just to make you aware, the Ocean House pool was very disappointing. It was filthy with chipped paint, wads of hair, and bugs floating around at all times of the day. The concrete around the pool was breaking apart. There were no pool rules posted and it caused many problems, especially for us with small children. (Ex. Rough horse playing, loud music, drinking, etc). It seemed like no one was in charge of keeping up with the pool. Loved this location, but it wasn’t as nice as it’s been in the past.

This was our first time staying in this condo. We was very happy with the location and the amount of space the unit provided. The condo was clean and comfortable for our family. We love using Gulf Shores Rentals for our vacation needs when we come down. Great staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
