Our experience started shaky and ended that way. The elevator was not working properly when we got there. We thought we'd have to carry everything up 8 flights but after about 10 minutes the doors finally opened (still wasn't sure I wanted to get in).The morning of our depwas different. The elevator didn't work at all. Made a call to GSR to report. Don't know how long it took to repair. My 70 yo husband had to make 4 trips down 8 flights of stairs with our things and back up. Not good! Other than that the unit itself was clean & sufficient. Location was great. Love GSR's Stay & Play package.

The condo is very old and needs updating. Water was leaking from above the stove and in the ceiling. The sheets were rough and mattress was not ideal. Lots of noise during the night and light shining into the bedroom from the hallway. Pretty view of the beach and very convenient to get to the ocean.

Not enough parking

We have stayed at this condo before. They have updated it since last summer, which was nice. We have been to Gulf Shores around 8 times and really enjoy it there. We drive, so it's not too bad from Kansas City.

For the cost of this rental, there are much better options available. The unit, although fairly clean with a nice view, was very dated and could use upgrades and repairs to the bedroom window (uninsulated + cracked window pane), appliances (old stove, rusted/dirty refrigerator), and bathroom (tub fixtures are old, doesn’t drain + loud dripping noise that doesn’t subside). In addition, there are baseboards/walls that need repair and the walls are extremely thin. I heard my neighbor snoring as if he were in the same room, along with entire conversations. All-in-all, the 4 days in this unit did not meet my expectations and I would steer clear of staying here again.

The office employees were very helpful. The condo is in a great location. Plenty of room on the beach. The condo was clean but had some interior items needing repairs.

Westwind 602 is a very comfortable condo with an amazing view of the Gulf and everything needed to fully enjoy a stay in Gulf Shores. It is conveniently located in the heart of Gulf Shores, while still being far enough away from the hustle and bustle to avoid heavy traffic and beach crowds. The condo was very clean and well-maintained throughout. It has been updated and looks very modern, while still having that cozy beach house feel. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Gulf Shores any time of the year!

We had a great vacation, the air didnt work the first night but thankfully someone was out mid am to fix it and it was great the rest of the stay, view was beautiful, room was clean, sofa sleeper was slightly uncomfortable and made alot of noise when rolling but overall great stay!

Unit was everything advertised. Great location on Beach Blvd. Great balcony view of ocean and beach. Bedroom is quiet and away from beach. Kitchen is adequate although the stove is long in the tooth and a tad cantankerous. We had a problem with the TV but it was handled quickly by the rental company. Overall rating: EXCELLENT

A great time had by all. Relaxing and comfortable. Gulf Shores was still having some repairs done during our visit, but we enjoyed and we would come again.

Westwind 602 was wonderful.
My daughter graduated and turned 18. Her senior year was such a bummer, I'm so happy we had the opportunity to stay in this unit and celebrate her accomplishments.
The unit was the perfect size and the location was superior. Just down and out the doors and a few steps and you are on the beach.
Room stayed cool air unit worked great and the balcony view was wonderful. I had breakfast there every morning.
My kids have already suggested we return here next summer.
Looking forward to our next adventure.
