The name says it all. Bungalow Beach Resort actually is a beachfront resort of 15 cedar bungalows. Ranging in size from studio to three bedrooms, all feature hardwood floors, beamed cathedral ceilings, skylights, and private porches. The resort sits amid towering coconut palms and features a private beach, a heated pool, a fire pit, and barbecue grills.
Studio units have a king or queen bed. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom cottages feature queen beds, and some have sleeper sofas. They all have either kitchenettes or full kitchens, whirlpool tubs, and flat-screen TVs. There is a two-bedroom bungalow with a private pool.
If you want to head out and enjoy some of myriad local attractions, plan on visiting the Mote Marine Aquarium, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and the South Florida Museum, which features the Bishop Planetarium and Parker Manatee Aquarium.
