Henderson Beach State Park located just east of Destin, Florida on U.S. 98 has something for everyone! Whether you enjoy fishing, hiking, swimming or spending a peaceful day at the beach, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting than this. With more than 6,000 feet of shoreline facing the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, there are plenty of white sand dunes to explore in this pristine natural environment.

A pet friendly nature trail leads hikers through the scenic coastal ecosystem which features a collection of sand pines, scrub oaks, and dune rosemary and offers abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. There is a playground for the kids and 60 campsites with water and electric hookups. The campground also has climate controlled bathhouse facilities with separate beach access, boardwalk and outdoor showers.

You can make campground reservations online at www.ReserveAmerica.com or by calling 1-800-326-3521. Henderson Beach State Park is A.D.A accessible and includes beach wheel chair availability.
