It’s almost time again to “Uncork Some Fun in the Sun” at the Sandestin Wine Festival, which celebrates its 33rd anniversary in 2019. Named the “Best Annual Event” by Destin magazine, the popular festival offers wine lovers the opportunity to sample hundreds of wines from around the world. Guests also have opportunities to interact with top winemakers, learn what foods and wines go best together, and buy favorite wines at discounted prices.

This year’s main events – the Grand Wine Tastings – are scheduled for Friday night, April 12, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday afternoon, April 13, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Appellations from all the major wine-producing countries will be represented, with a wide range of varieties, styles, and prices.
