Holiday Surf and Racquet Unit 305

Great condo and beach access. Staff at Holiday Surf were top notch. Sorry we had to leave early.

This was my fourth time staying at HSR and first time in unit 305. We love HSR and will continue to return in the future. This unit was very nice and met our needs perfectly. We loved having two bathrooms and access to the washer/dryer. The unit was nicely furnished and equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A few small suggestion or comments: the bed was a bit firm for my taste (but know that is a matter of opinion), the bar stools were small and uncomfortable, but table seats were very comfortable. Would have loved bar height seating on balcony, as sitting in the lower chairs limited our views with the balcony railings. I love rain shower heads, but with that being the ONLY shower head in the shower, and it’s position in the middle of the shower (with the shower seat) made washing and rinsing my hair difficult. And the glass coffee table top was not attached to the base and we almost knocked it off a few time by accidentally bumping it when we walked by. We eventually just moved it out of the way to prevent any damage! These were all minor things which did not hinder us enjoying a wonderful weeklong stay! We will definitely be back!

We have been coming to HSRC for around 20 years. It’s our home away from home. Always a great stay from check in to check out. Room 305 was extra special because it has its own washer and dryer! This is the first unit we’ve stayed in with that luxury. We always come with friends and we were all discussing who would get this room next year. The competition is on! Now, we did have a little trouble with the umbrella set up. We have always been able to tell the guys on our first morning that we will need this set up with our Friends for the week. He was oblivious to our request. Yet he had a party of 30 set up every day. Hopefully this is a one time issue.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The included beach service was a huge bonus, wake up walk down with your towel and cooler and everything else is there waiting on you.

We had the best week relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach. Our condo was perfect as well. Had everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. We loved the two bathrooms. It was perfect for the two of us. My only wish was a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Pros: Great quiet location, beautiful beach, friendly staff, nice extras (umbrella setup, courts, gym, our unit had its own laundry) just 2 of us so plenty of towels and starter TP, paper towels, etc. kitchen well stocked, new fridge. Walkout right to beach. Great view from unit.
Cons for our particular unit: Eventhough at the beach and damp smell expected, our unit could have used a better filter or dehumidifier. Migraine 2 days from mold:mildew smell. Needs better shower head in main bath. Could not figure out how to use 2nd shower head until last day! (Our stupidity, but not an easy one!) vents in bathrooms would have been nice. King bed had only 3 of the flimsiest small flat, piece of paper like pillows, so uncomfortable. Unit could have used a broom, not just small vacuum, and a blender. Should advertise a Keurig, not just coffeemaker so you can buy accordingly. Would recommend some updating to kitchen:baths. Dated and little beat up. Smoke detector went off anytime toaster was used.
Our stay coincided with Labor Day so those days beach and pool quite busy with lots of families, just an FYI if looking for quiet. Stay on 3rd floor or higher if want beach views.
Overall loved our stay and the condo. Will definitely stay again and recommend.
