Wonderful location for this spacious rental right on the Gulf. Well appointed unit. Outstanding communication with Brooks and Shorey. They did a great job of preparing the unit for our stay. We gave 4 stars for the state of the carpet. There were multiple significantly stained areas in living and bedrooms.

The condo was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The view of the beach and ocean was amazing. Our condo was located on the end cap of the building which provide additional windows for lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the beds slept very well. There was no complaints from any of my family members. Check-in was smooth and very easy. This condo was centrally located to all of our planned activities.

I stayed in 712 for a week in April with my wife, and returned there in August with friends. My wife and I have booked a week for next April. The Surf Dweller has large units with the biggest balconies on the island. The end units have the additional balcony opening facing west, which allows for cross breezes and sunset views. Unit 712 has wonderfully comfortable furniture inside and on the balcony. It's clean and quiet, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking real meals. And if you were to have any issues, the folks at Brooks & Shorey answer the phone and are nearby -- unlike a remote internet site that can leave you stranded. We love FWB and we're always going to book #712.

This unit was very spacious and allowed our family to spread out and relax. Beds were comfortable. The AC was struggling to keep it cool so they sent out a repair person immediately. When the issue couldn't be resolved on the first visit they offered us a new unit for the night or the remainder of our trip if needed. Luckily it was able to be repaired and we stayed in the original unit. Our stay was great!

Very clean, comfortable condo. The location is quiet and easy to get in and out of. It needs a few minor repairs (kitchen faucet, washing machine, slider door) but it did not affect our stay and we notified them after we left so they could fix for the next person. I would rent again!

Our getaway booking with Brooks & Shorey started out at a different location. We had 3 maintenance issues within the first 24 hours of our stay. Brooks & Shorey had us moved & upgraded our getaway to another location in a timely manner. Our stay @ Surf Dwellers was wonderful! The condo offered great views, a very comfortable & well maintained condo. Our Getaway stay was enjoyable. We had 2 weeks to enjoy this beautiful
place. We will come again. Location was prime, the weather was great. We could sit on the balcony and watch people surf. Balcony furniture is amazing. You will love your stay here. Only thing we wish had a walk in shower. In the master bathroom, but that was our choice. Everything was decorated beautifully.

The view from the balcony was perfect! Saw lots of dolphins and spent one morning watching a bunch of surfers. Perfect amount of space for a family of 4. The beds were super comfortable and the couch was perfect for family movie nights after a day in the sun. The included chairs and umbrella made beach days perfect. Check in and check out was super easy. The included app for our stay was such a nice touch and super helpful. 100% will return back to this condo! I actually want to know where the couch was bought from because my family now wants the exact one!

This is a beautiful and comfortable condo. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the couch was spacious. That said, the best part of the place is the amazing deck which had great furniture and stunning views. I also have to give a shout out to Brooks and Shorey’s customer service. Due to a mix-up that was 100% my fault, we arrived at Fort Walton Beach the week before our actual reservation. The staff at Brooks and Shorey worked with us to find accommodations for the week at the last minute and saved our family vacation. I am so grateful to them for that and will continue to use them for all future vacations to this area.

We have stayed two other units using Brooks and Shorey and this unit was everything and more. It was much larger than expected. It was a magical stay from the moment we arrived to the second we left. The beach service chair person was fantastic and very accommodating with my daughter who broke her leg prior to our stay and got us a reserved spot everyday. Being peak season it was never crowded. The unit was spacious enough for my daughter to use her crutches with ease. We had the exceptional view obviously all day everyday. The property was gorgeous. The unit had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend booking any beach stay with Brooks and Shorey. We have used Brooks and Shorey for a decade now and have always been blown away by the service, the unbeatable price and the glorious accommodations! It was simply perfect!

We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful condo, eating out most dinners, walking along the beach and sitting on the balcony looking over the wonderful gulf.
With the maintenance painting and siding as well as other work, the parking spaces were limited. Once, we sat in the lot until someone left and a space was open. It had been advertised as having pickleball so we brought
rackets with us. The courts were closed and looked freshly painted. We certainly would come back to this condo which was very comfortable. The staff at Brooks and Shorey (Hannah) were so nice and kind. The maintenance men who corrected a problem with the TV were also very nice and did a good job.

I have rented through numerous realtors in Ft. Walton for many years. Brooks and Shorey is by far the most attentive and on spot with their communications about the rental. We have been staying 1-2 times year for the past 50+ years and B&S will now be our go to choice. The FREE beach service is a definite plus!

Loved it. Everything was great. Clean and comfortable beds. The only thing i could complain about is our light on the front porch was out and it is dark at front door. Would not have mentioned at all but wanted to let you know. I give it a 5. wouldn't let me mark very satisfied on all questions.

Room was very nice and clean. Easy access to the beach and a great top floor view. The room was a little warm, the A/C ran non stop an never got below 74 deg . With temperatures over a 100 deg i guess that’s expected. Over all very enjoyable an would rent again.

Our room was perfect! It has a cute beach theme, it was very clean and organized. The kitchen was great with every appliance you could need, from toaster over, Forman Grill, coffee maker. This is our second time to stay at the Surf Dweller and it is our favorite. Customer service is excellent, so quick to respond if you have a question and willing to help anyway. It’s family friendly and just overall a relaxing environment! We can’t wait for our next stay..

There was only two issues for us,
The sliding glass doors does not lock and that was a little uncomfortable for us and the condo living room doesn’t have any curtains!!

Property overall was clean, updated, well maintained, and very quiet. We would recommend property to others. The master bedroom mattress was not comfortable (soft & sunken) and would suggest it be changed to new mattress. The baseboards had visible dust/dirt, especially in bathrooms. The furniture on balcony is not comfortable. A couple of lower chairs would be nice. We enjoyed the beach service for chairs, rented Kayaks at site, and enjoyed the pool. Enjoyed Stewby's and Ali's Bistro very much for dinner.

The condo itself was really nice and clean. The king bed slept really well. The view was amazing!! The only two negatives was the ice maker didn’t make enough ice for all if us, and the elevator door would not always open and you would get stuck sometimes. Overall, I would return and stay again.

Been going to Fort Walton for over 16 years now. Always a great place to stay. This year we had a lot of sea weed. I’ll research this in the future. The room and accommodations were excellent .

We brought our 1 year old grandson for his first beach experience. We were not disappointed. The condo was very clean and spacious. We spent hours on the balcony listening to the waves and "people watching". We spent some time on the beach and enjoyed a quick trip to Destin to the board walk. This condo is perfectly located and was equipped with a full kitchen.
The only negative thing to report, is that the beds were not comfortable, but that is subjective. Some like firm mattresses and some like soft mattresses so its understood that one mattress does not meet everyone's needs. We will definitely book another stay in this condo.

Overall a great rental. However, would recommend getting the elevators inspected as they are 9 months past the inspection expiration and the one on the West end is sketchy.

Absolutely loved this condo and waking up to beautiful views every morning from the master bedroom. The condo was very spacious and well designed. Elevators are a little questionable and living room furniture was a little outdated but overall this was a great property. My family and I would definitely stay here again in the future. Property management team was AMAZING!! They worked with us last minute to add another day to our vacation and we’re so pleasant every time we spoke.

Beautiful place, really enjoyed it. We did not go there for the TV, however it is nice to catch up on news and other things in the mornings and the TV never worked one second. We called and was told this had something to do with the HOA fee. This is where my mind starts to turn, we could not get into the room until 4pm because of "cleaning", but if someone was there prior and if cleaning would have turned a TV on - it would have been a known issue prior to arrival.
Again, it's a great place, lots to do, clean apartment, and most likly go back

This condo was the best I’ve stayed in. The perfect size, comfortable furniture and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in (bamboo mattress). The kitchen had everything I needed and the balcony is very large and spacious!

This is our second stay at this condo. We just love the place! Mom in law approved too! There was no spatula to cook with so I bought one and donated it to the unit. Suggestion to add some kitchen towels as we could not find them. Definitely will be back.

This room was great all around, the location on the seventh floor, the rooms, the furniture everything was great! Very clean and well maintained, the location provided phenomenal views of the beach and great sunrise and sunset views. The room is a short drive to many restaurants, a grocery store and many other activities, if the beach is not enough.

This is a fantastic condo, corner unit on the top floor with wonderful sunset views. Love the Surf Dweller for its large units with loads of room for everyone to spread out. This condo had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. There was a slight moment of panic when we couldn’t find a blender, but eventually found the stick blender above the stove, so all was well for Pina Coladas. Would highly recommend this unit and hope to be back soon!

The condo was great. It was clean top to bottom, everything in great condition. The only two things I noticed missing were a pizza cutter and a shot glass. Other than that, it was amazing. I would highly recommend this condo. I’ve stayed in many, with other companies, this one is the best.
