Flora-Bama Annual Beach Run/Walk

Flora-Bama's Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors is set for the beautiful beaches alongside the iconic bar on the Alabama/Florida line. 100% of registration fees will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which ensures full scholarship grants--and educational and family counseling--to surviving children of Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy special operations personnel who were killed in the line of duty.

Interstate Mullet Toss

One of the Flora-Bama’s most anticipated events, the Interstate Mullet Toss is part of the beach’s greatest party where participants throw a dead mullet over state lines to compete for a variety of awards. However, don’t be fooled. Although many competitors and spectators might be sporting a mullet, the mullet being tossed across state lines is a common saltwater fish. All sport is for a good cause, too, with each fish tossed into Alabama raising money for local youth charities.
