Beautiful house, with awesome views of the ocean & forests from the balconies. Absence of air conditioner was felt at times, but the constant flow of breeze thru the property helped compensate. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a good location with a beautiful view. It was EXTREMELY CLEAN! I wouldn’t walk on definitely red come d this property.

This house was perfect in every way for our family vacation with four teenagers. The kitchen and dinning room were huge and well appointed for cooking for a large group. All of the bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. The garage was full of beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipement, and coolers. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, great to walk around and the yard has papaya trees you can pick. The house was very clean and the management team very easy to work with. We will for sure stay here again.

The property exceeded our expectations. Aside from the modern spacious home, the cherry on top was the amazing and breathtaking view of the garden and ocean view. I felt like I was in paradise. If given the opportunity to revisit Kauai. This is our go to vacation home. Several family and friends have asked for the vacation rental information.

We spent a week in May with our family of 6. My husband & I along with our 4 adult children in their 20s. The house was very clean, very spacious & very modern. Every bedroom had plenty of space, comfortable beds & linens. The bathrooms were also spacious with plush towels & wonderful showers. The kitchen had everything you might need - literally everything. The dining area was also spacious with a pretty ocean view in the distance. We loved spending time on the lanai. The top floor had an amazing view. You can see it in the online pictures, but it doesn't translate into how lovely it is in person. And the back yard is a jungle paradise. No house behind in sight. There were more than enough beach towels, beach gear, chairs, again-literally everything. It is noted that there is no A/C but we were never hot during our time there. We enjoyed hearing the birds & all the sounds of the island. We would have missed that if the house was closed for A/C. We travel fairly extensively & have stayed in multiple Airbnbs both in the US & abroad & this will be among our favorites. I know a few mention they didn't spend much time in the home, but it rained a lot during our stay & we were so glad to have such a lovely place to hang out when wanted to stay in. I hope the owners see this review because we are so thankful for the opportunity to spend time in this lovely home. We made lasting memories for our family & there's really nothing more precious.

Home was exactly as advertised. Upon arrival it was clean, presentable and inviting. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood within close proximity to any needs you may have. Home is well stocked, and the kitchen is an awesome gathering place for any need on your vacation. Definitely will recommend this Home to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in Kauai on any type of vacation. Makana Properties were very professional and sent updates properly and timely to ensure our stay was the best it could be, Thank you!

I selected Posi Jiva from the photos, reviews and location. Our experience exceeded expectations. While we truly spent most of our time away from the home exploring the Garden Isle, the accommodations more than suited our family group of seven. Christmas morning we viewed a rainbow over the ocean . My older granddaughter and I explored the magnificent grounds and she identified the several fruit trees. This home is close to the North shore beaches, Anini and Hanalei. The Town of Kapa'a is fairly close with its beaches and other attractions.Posi Jiva was very comfortable and had just about everything you would need. I would definitely come back to this wonderful home.

Upon arrival at Posa Jiva, we were greeted with the pleasant aroma of flowers which are growing on the property. As we didn't arrive until the evening, we found the porch light illuminating our way inside. The house was prepared for our arrival, with fans and open windows providing a gentle breeze as well as a personal note welcoming us.
The home is spacious and uncluttered and its location provides a generally quiet atmosphere, with plenty of opportunity to listen to the breeze in the trees or the birds in the valley behind the house. Speaking of, since we arrived after dark, our first morning we took a look out the back windows and - OH. MY. GOD. We were stunned by the most beautiful valley, full of trees and all varieties of birds which we wish we were able to identify all the different types we saw. Quite a bit of our time was spent sitting on one of the lanais, looking at the ocean, or the valley, and just absorbing it all.

One unique benefit was the fresh fruits and vegetables growing which were made available to us including oranges, papaya, lilikoi, limes, bananas, spinach, all of which were delicious. There were more than plenty of pans, dishes, plates, bowls, silverware, and chopsticks for cooking meals.

The house has soft and comfortable beds, plush towels, beach gear (towels/chairs/snorkels/etc), did we mention the view? as well as plenty of helpful books about the trees, plants, fish, and land of Kauai.

Sea Lodge beach is nearby and secluded. We went twice, saw only 3 people - and two turtles sunning themselves!

We can't wait to plan our next trip back to Kauai, especially if we can stay here again.
