An excellent property with amazing views over the Gulf of Mexico!
Newly and completely renovated after the most recent hurricane to a very high standard.
All fittings and fixtures are extremely tasteful.
Only negative report is that there needs to be more information on the use of electrical appliances such as the cooker and lighting system.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at C302! I was especially appreciative of condition of the recovery at Sandollar and impressed with the owners and Board members we met. The care and work being done by the workers on site was also impressive. Thank you for the opportunity to rent and look forward to retruning.

Clean and spacious. Linda at SVP was extremely helpful as we settled in for a month. Big landscaping work in progress. Loved the pool.

My wife, Denise and I , along with our son, his wife and 2 daughters enjoyed our 50th Wedding Anniversary at the beautiful Sanddollar Complex. Our stay totally lived up to our expectations!

This condo worked great for our family (mom & dad, grandma, and two small boys). The location was beautiful and convenient to everything. We’ve stayed at several locations around Sanibel and Captiva over the years, and this is one I’d be happy staying at again. The furnishings were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. I was also impressed with the construction of the condo - that is to say, we heard zero noise from our neighbors (though we were on the top floor). The storage room had a lot of great items like chairs, an umbrella, floats, bikes, a cooler, and boogey board. The family room had some great games and puzzles. The property management company was very responsive; at check-in our keys didn’t work, and their service person came immediately to help us and arrived within a few minutes (the bottom lock on the door seems to be stuck). A few negatives: the towels, and kitchen cleanliness. The bath towels that appeared to be managed/supplied by the property management company were a bit stained. The beach towels owned by the condo were also a bit ragged and could be replaced. The kitchen had very nice appliances, but it needed a good cleaning. The oven is pretty gross and the drawers were dirty on the inside. Yes, the kitchen supplies were mismatched and a bit old, but that’s pretty typical in a beach condo. Overall, a very nice stay!

The condo is very nice, a little dated, but clean. The screened-in deck still had No See-ums- I do realize this is a problem all over Florida and for a long time, so I’m not asking for Select Vacation Properties to suddenly have the solution! However, I do suggest the porch AND screens are washed inside and out for some/any preventative measure. View is excellent, as was tennis court and pool. We were often the only ones in the pool. The condo, however, receives a D- at best for having normal kitchen, laundry, household supplies. Never have I stayed at a rental that was as inconveniently empty as this one. No garbage bags, no dishwasher pods or liquid, hand towels and dish towels need to be scrapped for rags and replaced immediately with new. No cleaning products, not even a package of Clorox wipes- AND IT’S COVID PEOPLE. I would not stay in this unit again. I question if I will ever book with Select Vacation again if this is their policy for all of their rentals. Also, it’s ridiculous that we have to go back to their office to return condo keys at end of our stay. Just another inconvenience. Can’t you figure out another way?

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. We stay at Sanddollar every year. It has everything we need, beach, pool,tennis. Condo has an amazing view. Great to fall asleep and wake to the sound of the gulf. Condo was clean, and spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen was somewhat well equipped. Could use some pot holders and dish towels. Overall we extremely happy with our stay.

Unit is a little dated, needs updating. Kitchen could be better equipped,, and all the fake plants and plants stands need a good dusting.
Rental/management company was great!

The unit needed some minor repairs/replacement including two (2) bedroom fans, 2nd bathroom drawer repair, dirty carpets and dirty sofa cover replacements, and coffee table leg repair.
This is a smaller property. The location was excellent and the view from the unit great. Amenities on property which included a pool, tennis courts, grills, and sitting area were wonderful.

Great Location--Sanibel Island can't be beat; Had extended family in 4 other condos in same Sanddollar Building which was fun; Beautiful beach, pool, and pickleball courts; Actual condo could use a little love:)..needs some updates

We have been spending our family summer vacation at the Sanddollar for the past 12 years and it has always been a wonderful experience. The ocean front location of the condos make it the perfect beach escape. The condo itself is spacious, extensively equipped and spotless. Sanddollar C302 never fails!

Our family has been visiting Sanibel Island for over 30 years and this was our first time staying in this unit. Sanddollar offers 2 and 3 bedroom condos for rent and previously we had been in one of the 2 BR units, but after this stay, I don't think we will be going back.
The unit overall is a B, compared to some of the other condos we have seen at Sanddollar. The best part is the screened in porch that opens to both the living room and bedroom, allowing you to listen to the night air and surf sounds all the time.
The only thing keeping this unit from an A+ is that some aspects are starting to reach the point where they could use a refresh. The utensils, especially the knives, and pots and pans are showing their age.
Overall, we loved the unit and will absolutely be back.

Our 5th year in this unit and we love it. So comfortable and updated. Kitchen and bathrooms are great. Sand Dollar is a perfect location and size for a condo complex, as it's not too big that you can't by the pool or are crowded at the beach. Super clean grills and great tennis courts too. LOVE coming every year!

We had a rocky start as we were given the wrong keys in our packet, but after calling the emergency after hours line we were able to talk to Chris, who was VERY helpful and attentive and we got it straightened out with another trip to the rental office. The condo itself is beautiful and nicely furnished. Two rooms had a set of twin beds and the master had a king. The beds and bedding were comfortable and there were extra pillows. The view and screened in patio were what made this such a great place. The picture shown on the listing is exactly as it appears, but it goes in both directions. It was such a treat to sit outside and have coffee or wine. The unit is on the third floor. The elevator was a little slow, stinky and in disrepair. A long piece of metal had fallen off one of the panels and was propped up in the corner. A word of caution, the tile steps are extremely slippery when wet. Both my husband and my daughter slipped and fell and my husband was pretty banged up. So, if you are wet from swimming or it is raining, take the elevator!!
It is a 5 min. walk to the beach over the dunes, but that is pretty standard on the gulf coast. The unit has 5 beach towels and 5 or 6 chairs. There is a beach cart and some beach toys. Both umbrellas were broken. The closet was very damp and some things at the back look like they've been moldering in the heat for quite some time, but the chairs were fine.The light was burnt out so we couldn't see what all was in the back. The unit had a washer/dryer which was nice. Master bath lights were burnt out, but nothing major was wrong at all. I wish the kitchen had had some plastic glasses you could take to the beach. But all these were very minor things and we loved our stay at the Sand Dollar. We would definitely return.

We had a great time and the vacation rental was very nice. The rental had all the amenities that we needed and the layout was great for the six of us (4 adults & 2 children).

Best shells on the island right in front of the condo. Easily bikeable to Periwinkle Way where the stores and restaurants are. Condo overall was well maintained, stocked and clean.

Sleeping with the sound of the waves and beach air was heavenly! Nicely decorated, ideal smallish community with not too many people at either beach or pool area made a great 3 generation family spring break!

Amazing vacation. The condo was beautifully furnished with great views. The property was well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. Great family vacation spot!!
